Since I started buying this salt for my wife, she informed me that not all bath salt is created equal. She has stopped buying cheaper salts she used to find locally because, in her words, they do not "feel" the same. I have bought her several different kinds and although she clearly enjoyed some more than others, she never complained about the quality.
I recently contacted their customer service department, by email, because of what I thought was a mistake on their part (but turned out to be a mistake on my part). I promptly received an email from Savannah, their Amazon Account Manager. In one word, she was wonderful. If she represents this company's philosophy (which I am certain she does), then they are a company that sincerely wants their customers to be 100% happy with their product.
If you enjoy using bath salt, do not hesitate to buy their bath salts (you can even buy the smaller bags to find your favorite). And I recently learned that they sell all types of salt (including cooking), so I will be trying those as well.
Got my salt today and I had to take a soak to test it out. It was my first time using this brand and previously had used a cheaper brand found at my local grocery store. This stuff knocks the cheaper crap waaaay out of the park! I have fibromyalgia and crohn's disease and I have chronic pain. I feel it mostly in the points at the tops of my shoulders and even after just one bath I feel so much better. I'm not cured and I still have pain but I feel ten times better after one soak in this stuff than anything else I have tried thus far. Money well spent!
This Dead Sea Salt your put 1 cup of salt in your bath which is the correct amount. I won't be able to try the salt until after I recover from surgery.
The salt I used before cleansed my lymph nodes, and I felt so relax I would fall asleep right after I soaked for the 20 minutes.
Remember, actual Dead Sea Salt will pull the dye right out of your hair, so be careful unless you want to remove the dye. It takes about 6 to 8 minutes without damaging your hair. 😉
Very nice smell, and I enjoy this product but I docked a star because of the bag the salt is stored in. The resealable zip lock doesn't work after you open it because salt gets stuck in the rides, and only reseals when you clear it out. Which by the way is not very easy to do, so I just store it by folding the top over to keep the salt smell fresh. I won't be buying this again because of my soon to be crawling daughter and the possibility that she will get into this. I also, already nocked it over, which was sad because this is expensive compared to other brands. Anyways, conclusion is good product, bad packaging.
This company is a God send for me. I find Epsom salts make a huge difference in how my body feels week to week. There products are super affordable and smell amazing. I also recommend the Muscle Soak. Stop paying $10 a pound for salts at a boutique! These are BETTER quality and scent then the most expensive salts I have purchased. Best epsom salts ever. The smell of lavender after I take a bath permeates the whole house. I bought the 10lb bag first, but we had a wave of sickness go through the house, so many baths were taken. I just bought the 20lb bag. I love this stuff. Don't buy unless you love lavender.
The Lavender scented Epsom Salts arrived so quickly that I was very pleasantly surprised . I used them first and raved to my daughter about how different and wonderful they were. She was skeptical . helps with my sore muscles, i soak in this all the time, and add coconut oil to the bath also. I give this salt an a + and it shipped soo quickly too
