I was fascinated by how heavy this mask was when I took it out of the packaging, haha! Which I assume is good to have the weight to lay back and stay on your face. I stuck it in the freezer for about 10 minutes and it was like ice cube cold and remained cold for 45 minutes. I see people saying it exploded in the microwave...... like yeah thats going to happen if you put it in the microwave. I suggest laying it in a bowl of hot water, not boiling. It's a wonderful product and exactly what i was looking for. Thank you!
This ice mask does it job! However I will note, it is quite big for my face. I do see that I did buy a x-large size as they didn't have any other size. My goal for buying this was to be able to breathe through my nose, have a weighted ice cold mask (the gel beads feel to 'light' on my face), and have it stay cold for longer than 10 minutes. It does all of that! The mouth piece and nose piece line up however the 'eyes' go on my eyebrows so i can barley see out of the mask but personally I rather have my eyes chilled than my eyebrows. I would buy again or more so I can have two.
I gotta tell ya. This is a pretty dope frozen clay mask. And its perfectly right under my puffy eyes . Great if you have a hectic day of errands or got rugrats running around the house.
I put it in the freezer to finally try it out and to my surprise, it doesn't take long to freeze. I think its better than the gel mask with the beads. I've read that those little balls dissolve with time and I think you can get more uses and endurance with this one the clay mask. The inside is fuzzy and soft and the size is perfect for it to revive your entire face . I'm happy and excited for the refreshed and rejuvenated aftermath I know it'll give me.thank you so much.

I purchased this mask at the recommendation of a friend. I recently had a facelift. My face will be swollen for several months and the more I get back into the swing of things, the more tired, swollen, hot and uncomfortable I feel. The amount of evenly distributed cooling this product gives provides immediate relief and a sense of calm. I can see why this would be helpful for people with migraines.
Some have commented on the size and how it fits. I have the extra large. I’m a 39 year old female, 5’7. That doesn’t tell you anything about the size of my face, but I imagine sizing a face mask perfectly to every face / Head shape would be difficult. This is certainly larger than my face, but I think that helps to provide more coverage. I lay on my bed when I use it and I also use an ice pack for my neck which helps prop the face mask up in the right places for me. It molds very well to your face, it just takes a little adjusting to get it where you need it. If you want a mask to walk around in, then yes, size may be an issue. But if you just want to kick back and relax for 20 minutes, bigger is better. Highly recommended.
I get horrible pressure migraines that create a lot of heat and pain in my ears, sinuses, and eyes. I have a few of those eye masks that cover your eyes, but you can't exactly see with those on! If I'm working or need to still function this mask has worked out pretty well. It fits perfectly around my eyes and forehead, the velcro strap at the top holds it securely in place, and also covers a little bit more of my eye/sinus area than those normal eye masks (which only cover the eyes); however, the bottom seems to be made for individuals with a very different face shape from mine. The mouth hole doesn't line up with my mouth and the part that should rest against my chin doesn't fit as well as the top. The velcro for the bottom half also doesnt really help hold it any closer. But! This is just for my particular face shape, and it's not like you want it suction cupped to your face because let me tell you, boy, does this get cold!! It doesnt stay freezing cold for an incredible amount of time (note that I've never timed it, but they do suggest only leaving it on for a few minutes or so) but for my needs it works out great. It cools down very nicely but is cold enough in the beginning so that my burning brain is momentarily put at ease.

I was impressed by the exceptional construction of this product. The back is covered in cloth, which is a big plus. It heats to a comfortable and long lasting level on 30sec. In my microwave. Great price also. Very impressed with this product.
Only used it twice so I may change my review later. Works as I had hoped once get it into position to and squish it around to contour to my face. I took off a star because the coarse side of the Velcro faces towards the head so it grabs hair.
So I just ordered this for the second time. I got my first one a year ago and unfortunately it just started leaking clay. It’s cheap and useful enough that I don’t mind ordering another. I like how the clay molds to my face. It stays cold a decent length of time. Helps with facial redness and flushing.
Like that there is the fluffy side of the side so that your face is not in direct contact to the plastic side.
Like that there are 2 strips, one on top of the head and one lower.
Dislike that it is only a cold mask, not also a hot mask.
Dislike the fact that I am not sure if the clay content really matters, since it is inside the mask anyway so it could really be anything.
Dislike that when the condensation from the mask start dripping water when it is getting warmer.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product. Twice a year I get a facial burn called PDT and struggle with cold packs. This delivers a even natural soothing cold like nothing else. I cannot say enough about this mask. I plan on purchasing another before next treatment so I can alternate.
