Cold Compress Therapy

Used as Cold Pack

1.Place gel pack flat in the freezer at least 2 hours.

2.Remove cold gel pack from freezer, place it into the towel or cloth to avoid the pack against skin directly, and apply to desired area.

3.Apply same application to affected area every 1-1.5 hour, in 10-15 minutes intervals. Consult physician regarding extended cold therapy application.

4.After use, place the gel pack in your freezer or store in a ventilated place for future use.

5.Apply the cold pack to desired area for up to 20 minutes at a time, and remove the pack at least 10 minutes between applications.


Used in Hot Water

1.Bring 1/2 of water to a boil, then remove from heat.

2.Slowly immerse gel pack into boiled water for 5 minutes, but do not place it into water while heat source is on.

3.Remove gel pack from water and pat dry, but please do not move it with your hands directly.

4.Place gel pack into a towel or cloth to avoid it against your skin directly.

5.Apply the gel pack to desired area for up to 20 minutes at a time, and remove the pack at least 10 minutes between applications.
