Drive Medical Adjustable Height Rollator with 6 Inches Wheels, Blue

This is my third rollator. The first, provided by Medicare, was very large ... it met my needs at the time, but was troublesome to put in the car ... however, I was able to use it to move many heavy and cumbersome items, and that was very helpful. My second rollator, which I also got through Amazon, was very similar to this one, but it did not have some of the really good features that this one has. Those features are a hinged and easy to remove backrest, a more usable storage bag, and the ability to lower the seat and handles farther. I also think that the adjustments are easier on this one. Amazingly, this rollator can be adjusted to fit someone my size (5 ft. 1 in.) to someone over 6 ft.! It is very easy for me to load into my car, and it actually cost less than the previous one ... and IS very well built. I looked a very long time to find another rollator because I wanted one to keep in the car and one to keep in my home, so I learned a lot about what is out there, and I am so happy that I found this one.

I do need to find where to get replacement cables because a cable on the second one broke, and I find it is not the same as a bicycle cable.

This is a wonderful rollator ! It's adjustable enough to let her put her feet flat on the ground (lowest seat position is really just 18" off the ground). I like that the seat can be raised in the future --- I read somewhere that if people have trouble getting up from a rollator, it can help to raise the seat. It has lockable brakes she can set and release herself. It assembles easily and all adjustments can be done without tools. The bag under the seat is really handy --- better than a basket from which things can fall out. Having a rollator with a seat makes it easier for me to take her places --- she can sit down whenever she needs to and uses the underseat bag as a mini-shopping cart at the store. The blue color is gorgeous. I wish it was a little lighter and folded a little smaller, and still, it's almost perfect !

I bought this almost 4 years ago for help getting around my house prior to my knee replacements. The seat was perfect for me to place items on it like a plate of food to take it from the kitchen to the dining room or to carry my laundry to the washing machine. I am now having back problems and need this to get around everywhere. It's been folded up many times and put in and out of vehicles for a couple of months now. It folds fairly easy but one of the nuts came loose and fell off. I just contacted Drive Medical to see if I could order a replacement nut and they are sending one out to me at no charge. Great customer service. I have other Drive products that work very well. When I look for any medical equipment devices I always look for the Drive brand because the quality has been great.

I'm 5 ft. tall so find it tricky to get equipment that fits me. Having right height walker saves from messing up elbows and shoulders and "speeds" me up when I'm shopping. It is light enough that I can easily lift it into and out of my truck. Do advise holding one of the brakes when sitting down so you don't end up on floor! The storage pouch under seat holds my purse and water plus small packages and I put shopping bags on seat to take them to my vehicle. Having the correct height seat enables me to rest when I need to then continue shopping. The design also makes it pretty easy to lift unit up or down curbs--be careful on stairs unless you have someone to help you Will be having 2 hip replacements and the walker will help me a lot during recovery. Thank you for such a great product!!!

Let me begin by telling you about me: I am a 66 year-old female, I am 5'9" tall and weigh 245 pounds. I have severe arthritis in my left knee, right hip, back and foot. My insurance purchased a larger sized waker for me that was so heavy and bulky I couldn't use it inside my apartment or lift it to put it in my car. I gave it away to someone wider and heavier than me. I researched a lot of walkers and wanted one that was sturdy and would accommodate my height. One has to read the details carefully because most walkers come with a non-adjustable seat and they can range anywhere from 20" to 21 1/2" high. I also needed one that would fit my budget. This walker seemed ideal. When the box came I was nervous about putting it together. The most difficult time I had was getting it out of the box... (about 2 minutes) after that it went together quickly and easily (about 15 minutes total and that includes cutting open the plastic covering on the legs). The legs are numbered so one can't make a mistake about what to put where. My seat is adjusted to 22" and instead of the usual 12" X 12" seat this is a few inches wider. But, it does not affect the overall width of the walker. The seat is very comfortable and when I get up, my knee hardly grinds at all! My other walker also had 6" wheels as this one does. I don't see the need for larger wheels as they provide enough sturdiness. I can also get around my small apartment without having to move furniture out of the way. In short... I love this walker. I wish I had purchased it a long time ago. I live in elderly housing and am going to tell my friends all about this walker... more people should know about it.

I used this walker before my back surgery as my legs became weak, difficult to support my weight. It has 4 wheels so you can't move into it like a standard walker or one with 2 wheels..I was bending forward which, before surgery , lessened my pain. It is very sturdy, easy to assemble and attached bag helps keep hands free when things need moving. Outdoor use is good and the brakes are effective. I was pleasantly surprised. Price is appropriate. Thank you

Received this rollator a few days ago. It was easily assembled (no tools were required) and appears to be well made. The seat height can be adjusted by changing the height of the legs, and the handle height is adjusted very easily. This adjustability was the deciding factor in selecting this model. The only thing I dislike about this item are the company logos (6 of them!) that are of various sizes and that did not show up in the photo. There are plastic ovals on the inside and outside of each handle that say "drive", as well as large white logos on the outside of the backrest and the outside of the storage bag. I just would have preferred to know that I would be providing free advertising for the manufacturer. All in all, a good quality and very useful item.

She liked it for outside but not inside - it is wide and bumps things. It appears to be well made She also said it was difficult to get in the car. She does not use it and prefers her old walker. Must say that she is resistant to change.

My mom is 4' 9" tall and this roller will adjust low enough for her to use. It's solid and a little heavier than her old walker but that seems to make it stay in place a little better when it's locked and she is standing up. Only think that could make it better is if the wheels were bigger for going over bumps but the wheel size is pretty standard and works well enough so I didn't ding it a star.

My friend had me purchase this product for his mother. Not only is it cheaper than any doctor's office or Physical Therapy clinic here, so that in addition to saving $35 by buying here, my friend's mom loves it and says she can now walk independently without holding someone's arm. Great for those who require a bit more support and balance due to aging.
