I had an old Sunbeam heating pad that I needed to replace.
What a difference.
This one is soft and comfortable to use whereas the old pad had a vinyl covering with a material case that felt like burlap not to mention the heating element that could be felt through the vinyl.
After receiving this, I removed the cord and gave it a quick hand washing and hung it to dry (it's a little unnerving to wash an electrical appliance).
I let it dry for three days to make sure it was good and dry.
I use it for my back by putting it on my bed and laying on top of it.
If used long ways, it's actually long enough to cover my entire back.
The material is very soft and comfortable.
The first heat setting is perfect for me.
I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend this to anyone in need of a heating pad.
The only negatives would be:
The plug is a little difficult to remove from the pad because there are two tabs you have to depress while pulling.
The other is that it was shipped by Amazon in the original thin and soft cardboard box without even taping the box ends.
It could've easily been punctured, torn or opened.
I use this heating pad for arthritis, SI joint dysfunction and fibromyalgia. It's truly a lovely thing; heats almost immediately, you have a choice of 6 temperatures, and can override the automatic shut-off. It really is very plush one side of the outside and I like that care and caution directions are printed on the other side. I can tell that this heating pad is going to be my best friend this winter.
I love this heating pad. It is about 1 1/2 times the size of a regular heating pad . You set the heat by a number instead of low med or high. And there is a temperature difference between the numbers. Also you can select a 2 hour turn off or to leave it on as long as you need it. I have bought all the brands available in my stores and either returned them or threw them away. When you get tired of playing heating pad shuffle, try this one. I think you will be pleased. If something changes I will up date my review.
Unlike my last heating pad from sunbeam, this has a very soft and pliable cover , almost as plush as sheepskin,so you don’t feel plastic and wires. Large and heats up fast, very happy I found Doneco, if I dident google best heating pads I would not have known they existed, good product!
I would probably give this heating pad 5 stars if I had it a bit longer. However, since I have only owned it for a few weeks and have only used it once or twice in that time, I can't attest to its durability. What I can say is that it is an excellent size, has a soft exterior fabric, and has robust functionality with multiple heat settings. In addition, it can be used both damp (for damp heat) or dry. It is well-priced, and the quality guarantee offered by the company also seems solid. Overall (assuming good durability), this is the pad to buy.

As many of us do, I read reviews for several products scouring for a good product at a reasonable price. This heating pad has served me well thus far. Your desired heat setting is chosen 1-6 on the control pad. There is an option for continuous use vs 2 hours which I find handy. Very easy to use. Cord is lengthy enough for my liking. Material is a plush microfiber and very comfortable. I cannot speak to durability but most of these heating pads last me a year. Two at most. I do use them 3-4 days a week so I remain optimistic. I will revise my post if it fails on me in under a year.
1st off any customers reading my review please excuse the anger over this. Yes I know it's just a heating pad but in my life and situation, it IS a DIRE NEED, A NECESSITY a situation that I CAN NOT function without it...
I bought this heating pad on Oct 18.. (of course the return date was like Nov 11th) it is now Jan 4th. For the last 6 days this heating pad started acting up. It turns off on it's own (WHILE ON "STAY ON" POSITION) then it started displaying the letter "F" on the screen. I unplugged it. I did the usual troubleshooting by folding it into the smallest square, turning it on high and waiting to see if it would work. Then I just left it unplugged for awhile and would plug it back in. It would be fine for a few minutes then turn to the "F" again. My son had the EXACT same problem with his heated blanket which he had for a year and only used about 10 times. The troubleshooting option didn't work for his blanket. So it got sent in for repair. And it now works. Now, I looked up my Amazon Prime account. I've PURCHASED 16 HEATING PADS in 2 YEARS!!!! I have yet to find a heating pad that last more than a couple months!!! I HAVE to have heating pads due do SEVERE chronic back pain. To have spent nearly 400.00 in heating pads is ridiculous. I'm tired of this! Who wants to continue have to send these back. It's such a hassle and ANNOYING.
I tried DONECO hoping for something better and I'm HIGHLY disappointed.. No I take that back I'm irritated!!!
I am crazy about this heating pad.
It covers my whole back, top to bottom.
The cover is plush and comfortable.
The first setting is all that I can tolerate, but it is fine.
I have one problem with it. When it shuts off after two hours and I am still "on" it, and I turn it back on, still on "1" it heats to a HIGHER TEMPERATURE than it did before. I have to turn it off and back on about five times to get back to "1", the highest temperature I can tolerate. I still love it, but this is a significant annoyance.
I loved it so much that I ordered a second one for my office. I love it there, too.
Not as king sized as I thought but big enough I guess. It’s about the size of the sunbeam that I had.

It does heat up fast! But it isn’t hot enough for me
There is an option to keep it on or to have it turn off in two hours.

I like this the only difficulty is it does not get that hot but I am in px and that doesn't matter to me. I place it as a way to heat my abs and raise my core temp at night to increase core detention.
