I use these for trips to Costco. I always stressed about buying refrigerated / frozen foods there - not any more. I grab a box there & layer these ice sheets between my items & don't have to stress or rush to get home. The old school blue ice blocks were always sliding everywhere but on my food, these stay nicely in place because they are slim & compact & fully cover what ever it is that I am buying. These sweat a lot, but that is not a deal breaker for me. These ice sheets keep everything cold, even for extended periods of time. These are the perfect solution for my purposes.
I found these several years ago at a big chain store (now out of business) and loved them for their durability and ability to keep cold for a long time. However after a few years a few were leaking and a bit "limp". So I decided to see if I could find them available online. Of course they were here. :) So I order these and am happy to say that I am enjoying them. They are just as great as the previous ones, maybe a bit more durable. These were a bit larger than my previous, but I was able to cut them to needed sizes. Will definitely order more when needed.
They aren't perfect but they are my personal favorite. Often the little water bags break but it takes a while for them to do so. I love that it's actually just water and not chemicals so no big deal if they do. Love the big size. 2 of these could cover my entire back or wrap around my knee but they are best for my cooler as an ice blanket.
Love Cryopak ice blanket. It keeps my kids' water bottle and fruit snack cold all day.
Quality wise, these blankets are great. I had ordered these in the past and they fit perfectly in a Velcro belt to hold them in place. The size or design has been changed somewhat as they don't fit as well as the last order, but again, this is my only complaint, albeit a small one.

i confess that i don't actually use this for chilling food but for migraine relief. when i have a migraine attack, the most soothing thing i can do without taking medication (which i often don't want to do either because i get migraines more often than i have pills per month or because i have already medicated two or three days that week) is apply an ice pack to my temples and the surrounding area. i sleep with an ice pack on my pillow often, and these are great. i usually wrap one in a tea towel or other thin towel to keep the condensation away from my skin directly (which would be painfully cold after a while) and feel instant relief as soon as it touches my skin. i just love it. the only thing i wish is that it stayed frozen longer. i've had ice packs before that are just solid and filled with gel that stay partially frozen even until morning. this is thawed a few hours into the night, and sometimes i wake up wanting more cold. but that's a minor complaint. i still use them and would buy them again in a heartbeat.
I really like this product! I run a food shelf that focuses on fresh food and we use these Cryopaks to display our frozen meat in a much better way than all stacked up in a cooler. Thanks for a really good product!
Bought some of these a decade ago at Costco. Loved them, and have been using them ever since. Was delighted to find I could buy more on Amazon. Great product!
We use the Cryopak flexible ice blankets to keep units of blood cold while we are performing testing on them. This helps to keep the red cells at the right temperature (1-6C) as we take samples for cross matching. We also wrap the units in the 'blankets' when transporting them to other departments.
I like that the sheets are flexible. I dislike the sheets were bigger than I thought they were going to be. However, the sheets can be cut to whatever size is needed.
