My husband found the ER used these Statlock Foley stabilization devices when he had to go there. However, when later he went to the urologist's office, they did not have these.We found our family doctor did not have them either. He was very pleased, and relieved, to find we could get them from Amazon, as he did not feel the cath line was secure with tape or nothing. The swivel clip is a plus, as it allows adjustment for the best fit.
Good produce, but leaves the skin irritated and the goo needs to be removed with a alcohol scrub after removing the device. also the clip lock to secure the catheter is sometime precarious it may have lock properly or not. Another thing that happened due to the fact that the clip swivels is the catheter becomes twisted and urine cannot flow properly, causing build-up in the bladder. So check the connection frequently-daily.
This Stat Lock is used to hold the Catheter in place on one leg after clean leg with alcohol swabs. They are way TOO EXPENSIVE, period . But needed since do not want to accidentally pull on the catheter, since the catheter is in your bladder and has a ballon filled with approximately 10 CC of Saline .
Statlock Foley catheter secures well to the leg. After using these, leg straps are not an option. I buy these for my mom. The nursing facility only has the straps. They won’t stay up and cause too much
irritation on the urinary meatus. Keep making this device. Thank you.
This is the best one we have found so far. It will still pop apart if pulled too hard, but is fairly sturdy. We clean area with alcohol first so it will stick, then eventually have to add tape to hold it down after a couple of weeks.

This is the cats meow. If you cannot pee, there are 4 options. One is don't, your bladder will finally blow up, you will end up in the hospital and may die. The second option is to use individual caths about 4-6 times a day, very inconvenient and costly (minimum about $3 per cath), and you have to take some with you if you are away from home. The third option is a bag, which is really lousy, hanging on your leg and you have to empty that all the time. The fourth option is the Bard Flip-Flo, and it is a life saver. I have read a few reviews that said it leaked, but this is not my experience. However, you need to do several things to keep things on track. First, I have had one fall off, and peed on the floor. I fixed that by super gluing it on the end of the Floey. Second, after you pee you need to wipe the end of the Flip-Flo with toilet paper to get any urine out the tip. And then use a Q-tip to get any remaining urine out. Then you are in good shape. But as I say, It is the only way to go.

Works better than the strap you put around your leg because it doesn’t cut off your circulation or slide down your leg.
Great, but had to reinforce with expanding tape.
These are excellent for securing a catheter tube with minimum irritation to the skin.
Simple enough to install. Holds tubes securely. Comfortable adhesive foam patch.
