Omg I can actually see! I bought these glasses after an exam. I purchased glasses that were much more expensive through the eye Dr. I wanted to compare a cheaper pair to the prescribed pair and see if there was any differences. I don't pick my glasses up til next week tho so there's no comparison yet. This pair arrived today, it only took a couple days to ship. I admit I can actually see a lot better when wearing them. They also were packed safely in a brown bag, in a brown box inside of a medium sized white bubble wrap bag. The price is GREAT. I plan to purchase more as long as the price doesn't increase. They are well worth it and I would definitely recommend to others. The only downside I can find is they are somewhat flimsy and there is a glare. But most glasses are fragile anyway and I'm sure the glare is pretty common. This is my first time ever wearing eye glasses.
First let me say my eyesight has always been horrible, I wore glasses for 40+ years with really bad astigmatism. I recently choose to have Lasik eye surgery and found myself with pretty good vision afterwards but not 100%. While in the transition of healing and being able to go back and have touch up Lasik done for 100% vision I needed a basic pair of glasses with a weaker prescription for driving and the such. Having just shelled out $5500.00 for Lasik I did not want to go to a optometrist and shell out another $300+ for glasses that I know I am not going to need 3 months later.
Enter in the story the ALWAYSUV. I am shocked! For around $25.00 these glasses are perfect! I ordered the -1.00 figuring they were the lowest and less aggressive lens. Bingo! Perfect for what I needed. The over all quality is OK, I've dropped them a few times with no damage and they aren't super cumbersome on my face. Let's be frank, these certainly are not designer frames with a high quality lens either. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for, but for anyone like me just needing an inexpensive alternative to high end glasses these are perfect. I would purchase another pair if the need should arise for sure.
I bought these TR90 black Myopia glasses in -1.00 and they work just like my prescribed glasses did. I needed something to hold me over until I get a new exam and a new prescription; these are just right. Only fault with these glasses is that they are not polarized, so there is a reflection on the surface of the eyeglasses. People see a reflection in your glasses when THEY are looking at you, but it really doesn't bother my view any. I've only had them a couple of weeks but so far so good. I like that they have nose pads so they fit comfortably and also that the lenses are not over-sized for an adult. Note they come in a cardboard box, not a case.
Always turn to Amazon when something happens to my glasses! (Often with my forgetfulness, kids, flimsy VA issued glasses etc). These are perfect strength, maybe too strong on one side because of my prescription but they do just fine until I can get another pair. Might be more for men but they work fine for driving, TV, and basically everywhere. I barely take them off I have a headache trying to focus on things without them.
Lightweight.
Comfortable.
Accurate prescription.
