was looking for something with a strap. its velcro and so far it works well. using for heat only. 12-15 minutes of heat. first 5 minutes are Really nice + hot. the three sections line up really well for my needs. like the rice idea instead of a gel pack. smells very lightly of rice, and doesn't linger. should fit to around 40-42". handle with care.
This is a nice heating/cold pad. Has pockets to remove rice bags easily to wash the cover. Nice stretch Velcro strap for fit around body. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a scent like lavender or something. Actually I thought it did but I think I got it mixed up with another pad I was looking at. My little Gomez was looking for a scent too, as you can see he was checking it out. Appears to be a well made product and it arrived on time. Material is soft enough to be on skin comfortably. I feel it was a good buy and I definitely recommend.
Bought both blue and purple and they were exactly what i was looking for and the price range. I love that they have the velcro straps to secure to my knees, back, arms basically any part needed. The straps sometimes get in the way (microwave) but until I am ready if I choose to use it I just roll up the strap and put a little piece of Velcro around it to tie it down and it works perfect. I am so beyond happy with this product and it will be used on a daily basis.
These are really pretty and best made items of this type I have ever bought. I have only used for heat application and they stay warm for 15-20 minutes or so. Has a slight rice smell when warmed but it is pleasant. I also bought the shoulder/neck size in same blue print and it is equally well made. Don't overheat on microwave. I started with 1 minute 30 sec and then another 30 sec if that wasn't warm enough(2 min total).
This works great. It has a comfortable fit and is easy to put on and take off. I have used it for both hot and cold therapy and it stays hotter longer than it stays cold but it is cold for at least the doctor recommended 15 minutes so I am fine with it. It doesn't have any smell which is great since my husband is sensitive to scents.

This is my favorite heat pad now. THe strap allows you to keep it on without holding it - YAY! And the smell is very light, not strong.
It has a weird musty smell when first get it, but the more you use it, the more it will go away. This is definitely a life savor. I have had horrible cramps but coupled with drinking warm water and using this rice pack, I’ve reduced my cramps from a pain level of 9 or 10/10 to a 4/10.
I love using my Hot Pockets heating pad. It arrived promptly and in perfect shape. It is attractive, odor free and fits comfortably around my waist, providing soothing warmth without having to deal with a cord, electric controls and an inconvenient outlet behind my headboard. While the instructions said not to microwave it for more than two minutes, I found that 90 seconds worked best for me. I would definitely buy this product again.
I feel like I haven't taken the thing off since I've gotten it. I love how I can wear it in the car or under a baggy shirt. Also love that I can walk around the house and I'm not hooked to a plug all day. I use it for my cramps but I've considered buying another to put on my back as well at the same time. Its definitely worth it!
I have really terrible period cramps, but this alleviates the pain like any good heating pad should! Also, this heats up super quickly and is easy to move around with.
