I was buying the maracuja oil from Ulta for the past year. I have dry skin and wanted something that would provide moisture without oiliness. Really liked the product from Ulta but it was expensive and because of my skin type I was using more than three drops. In addition my husband liked it. I bought this one and have noticed no difference between this product and the one from Ulta except the price.
In a word, pure maracuja oil STINKS, but I love, love, love the results. I use on my face, neck, cuticles, and anything a little dry. It's amazing. I would love to mix and reduce the smell but not being a chemist, don't want to diminish its effectiveness! I love the product so much, I just push through. Silver lining - the smell doesn't linger - in fact, the odor disperses quickly and completely. Once it soaks in, and it does quickly, I can't smell on my hands, at all. BUT it smells like the brackish water after you leave flowers in a vase until they're black and slimy. Just giving fair warning. If you can afford Tarte, go that way, but the amount I use this, I can't afford $$$. This is my miracle secret and a priority in my skin care.
This is by far the most effective oil I tried. I received a sample of the same oil from Tarte Cosmetics from my ipsy bag. I've used the entire thing and decided to buy one from amazon. I've read the reviews from different sellers and this brand has similar consistency as tarte's. I have a very sensitive skin, heck, you can even write your name on it. This one write made my face really smooth combined it with my day & night moisturizer from Estée Lauder (day wear & advance repair night cream) it makes everything work perfectly! I have only used this over 2 weeks and it did change the appearance on my skin. I also use this as body oil. The smell may be off but you will get used to it. Love this!
I absolutely love maracuja oil. I use it on my face daily. After cleaning and at night before bed. It leaves my face feeling soft and looking smooth. I bought this bottle because other makeup brands were selling a small bottle of the oil for the same price or even double. This works just as well and with my other daily skin scare routine I get a lot of compliments on how well my skin looks, especially for my age.
I'm so glad I found this! Was introduced to maracuja oil through a free sample from Tarte. I liked how neutral the smell was, and that it didn't break me out while hydrating my skin. However, I went to buy a full-size bottle of this from Tarte, and it was a hilariously small size (1 oz.) for nearly 50 dollars. This is the exact same quality, while several times more than what Tarte sells.

Love this product. I use it as an overnight serum, daily moisturiser for my face and I use it to moisturise the ends of my hair while its damp! This works better than a lot of expensive department store products in the market today!
Lightweight oil. Great for sensitive dry skin. I apply at night and it leaves my skin looking nice and glowy in the morning. A little goes a long way. I have a bee prone skin and this is the only oil that doesn't break me out.
i got bit by a mosquito about a year ago and that spot has been dry af ever since. ive tried lotions and creams, olive & coconut oil, vaseline, nothing worked. this did! idk if its an infection of whatever (lmk if yall know)

Same exact thing as tarte maracuja oil if not better! Way cheaper too!!! I just refill it into the tarte bottle because it doesn't come with a dropper! I love this product will continue to buy it and would recommend it to everyone who is interested!!!
Love this! I became a fan of Tarte's maracuja oil when I received a sample in my Ipsy bag. I have adult acne and it made a big difference in my skin. Of course, I didn't want to pay that price tag for the Tarte, so I decided I'd try this. It is just as good as the Tarte oil, it smells pretty good and you get a huge bottle! I highly recommended this if you're a fan of Tarte's Maracuja Oil.
