First, let me say that the "belt" part is a little too small for me. So, if you're slightly plus-sized or bigger, don't expect to use it fully as intended.
That being said, it works really well. It's really comfortable and soothes my belly if I'm nauseated or sore while traveling. It gets pretty warm on its highest setting, but not too hot.
It doesn't have the temp control that a good quality home heating pad does, but it definitely does the trick on long trips.
