First of all id like to say that when I recieved the item it was about 6" too short. I contacted amazon expecting maybe a compensation for the missing chunk. Nope they refunded the entire sale snd let me keep the roll. Thanks amazon for such great customer service.
Now for product review:
I suffer from easily blistered heels while hunting in my boots. I have tried different combinations of socks with no relief. Next step was trying mole skin, before I even start my day.
I used this mole skin a few times for work, as a test run for future hunting trips. No issues at work, they stay on under the boots, they stick well.
I used it for 2 day hunting trip. The first day it lasted till it was time to sleep for the night. They were just begining to peel off on the back of my heels. The next day I wasnt so lucky one foot completely peeled off and flipped in my sock within half a day. It might have been because I forgot to round off the corners. But and the end of it all, I had some dead skin peeling from underneath the mole skin, but not even a hint of a blister showing up. Very happy.
Note: I used these only on the back of my heel, with polypropylene liner socks, and merino wool boot socks.
This moleskin is a tad thinner than the traditional 3 sheet packs of other brands sold to cover up the toes on your pointe shoes. The color matches perfectly with Bloch pointe shoes, sticks like magic, and doesn't come off easily. Perfect for recital time to make the not so pretty shoe tips look like new!! It stretches really nicely and edges do not curl up from the satin. This is an awesome deal as it can withstand practices too, extending the life of your pointes (we all know how costly that is). Also being that it is thinner, you can still feel the floor nicely without added bulk you can always add a 2nd layer is you wish. I will definitely buy the larger roll next time, as everyone wanted some for their shoes. Hope this review helps and dance on!!
Love this stuff. Moleskin has saved me so much pain on weeks-long vacations during which I have to walk a lot. Slap a little of this bad boy over a blister, and it is almost like the blister isn't even there. The adhesive stays quite well, but I typically replaced it every 1.5-2 days. I think I still have some of this left, but any time I know I'm going to be walking a lot on trips, this is a must-have in my toiletry bag. I recommend bringing a small pair of scissors to cut it, or pre-cutting strips to sizes you know you will need (which is my preferred method).
I have used this repeatedly (1 yard tan). I did a fairly direct comparison with Dr. Scholl's moleskin plus. Yes this product is thinner, but it doesn't appear to affect it's effectiveness in preventing blisters. It sticks well. I have had no problem with it coming loose. Typically I walk a 7 mile path. I walked 14 miles over two days without it coming loose, this includes a shower in between. Walked 7 miles with Dr. Scholl's today, and the performance was similar to this product.
Bottom line, buy whichever is cheaper.
I bought this stuff to have with me on a 26 mile, 2 day Avon Walk for Breast Cancer that I did earlier in the year. I ended up not having to use it during the walk (I used astroglide and good socks). Since then, I have been using it for breaking in shoes and saving my heels. This stuff has saved me on many a day of student teaching in a kindergarten class. When my shoes are bugging me, I slap some of this on and it fixes me right up. I think everyone should have some of this moleskin in their life.

so far so good!! i wore the same pair of flats (in a diff color) a cpl wks ago, and the back of my ankles were ready to fall off a few hours into the day. i'd just bought 4 pair of flats so i needed a solution. googled it and came across this stuff!! so happy i did! will update if anything changes. this is my first time wearing this pair. it was also my first time wearing the pair that killed the back of my ankles.
These things are awesome for blister prevention. Before long hikes, I put them on my heals, outside of my toes, wherever I used to get blisters wearing cleats. Pair them with my Darn Tough socks and blister free when everyone else is miserable! Buy a couple rolls though, bc everyone else will want to use yours.
I have several kinds of moleskin in small squares that are thicker than this. But I bought this roll for my daughter's wedding to bring with me for all the girls to use. The bride and one bridesmaid and myself used it. We wore our shoes around that morning and then applied the moleskin to any red spots before the wedding. It saved us from getting blisters on a very long night! The product is soft and thin so it doesn't take up much room, it's just a protective barrier to keep from getting rubbing. It stayed stuck on all night. I am very happy with it and there is still tons left for later.
I bought these to use on my dogs ears in order to promote their correct folding forward. It worked pretty well at staying on and keeping those fold ears from rose folding and now they fall forward most the time but still rose fold because I haven't used it a much as she's gotten older. They seem soft and plush though and that they'd protect your feet, etc.
Saved my Greek vacation!!! We walked so much I lost 10 pounds! I rubbed a raw spot on my foot. I cut pieces of this and put it on the sore spot. It has just the right amount of adhesive and really protected the wound, kept my shoes from rubbing the spot even more, and let it heal. Do not leave home without it. So pleased. It really saved my vacation.
