This product was a game changer for me. First, it is comfortable. The cover was soft, protected me from the edges of the harder cold plastic insert, did not smell, and fit well. The straps adjust to a larger or smaller head (mine is larger); even more importantly, even though the straps feature velcro they do not catch or pull on my hair. The eye cut outs on the insert also prevent pressure on the eyes that a traditional mask can create. It does an excellent job of blocking light as well. Overall this mask is comfortable enough for me to go to sleep wearing and find on in the morning, after moving around in my sleep, without any irritation.
The cold is also pleasant. While I prefer to subject myself to more cold than is normally suggested, this mask follows normal guidelines but maintains its cold for a decent amount of time--typically more than enough for me to go to sleep. It also only takes a couple hours in the fridge to get to that level of cold.
It is also durable, I have had the product for a couple of months now and about every other night, on average, I wear it and return it to the freezer in the morning. It is still holding up and has not yet shown any signs of wear and tear.
Finally, I find it functional and beneficial. The cold is incredibly relaxing and I find myself drifting to sleep in the cool darkness the mask creates around my eyes. I find that it calms down puffiness around my eyes, especially when work demands have resulted in less sleep. The jury is not back in yet on it's effect on dark circles under my eyes, but I feel like it has some. Overall I feel pretty refreshed after using the eye mask.
I think this product was an excellent buy. I was hoping to find something in the $10 range, but at $15 or so it has ultimately proven to be a great value purchase. If it continues to last like it has the value proposition will only increase. I highly recommend this eye mask.
If I could leave this product ten stars, I would. I was not expecting it to be made with such high quality materials considering how very reasonably priced it was. At first, I was hesitant since all the other ice/heat eye masks I've tried never fit my face or felt like it iced below my eyes. I am very pleased with this purchase. I will probably be getting a couple more for gifts.
The mask cold compress mask works well. I use it to help relieve migraine pain. The one downside is that the picture is misleading. I thought that the straps would be connected to the external piece. Instead, they are connected to the compress itself. This makes my original hope of using the external portion as a sleep mask when the cold compress was not needed impossible.
I love this mask! I have problems falling asleep so I got this mask to help calm my mind and eyes at the end of a long day. I also use peppermint oil and lavender oils to help me sleep and rid myself of headaches. I think a combination of the two is the key to a great nights sleep! I literally am sleeping within 2 minutes of laying down. The mask doesn't stay cool for long but I am sleeping FAR before it gets warm. One of the girls I work with actually just purchased one because I told her how much I loved it! I wish the plastic the beads were in was a little more pliable but other than that the mask is great. The gel works good in holding either hot or cold temperature but leaving on face while sleeping feels nice and doesn't smother the face.
I bought this for my husband because he gets sinus headaches. He said it works really well for him, and it covers more of his face than other masks he's tried (which he likes). He also likes the eye cover. There are a lot of face mask options on amazon, and I researched many of them. I'm glad we went with this one!

Purchase this because of myself getting headaches and this really does help out when you want an alternative to taking medicne. Plus I put and ice pack on my neck also and it does seem to help out.
I love this mask. I looked through a lot of others before I decided to purchase this one. I was hesitant but decided to order anyway. The material is so soft. It stays flexible even when frozen. It is the perfect amount of cold, but not too cold. Get it!
Best naps ever! I usually have trouble sleeping if there's even the littlest but of light in the room, but not anymore!!! Gently blocks out all light (unlike many eye masks) and the warm/cool option is an added bonus of a situation arises when you want to use it! Love!!!!!
