Bulksupplements Slippery Elm Extract Powder (500 grams)

Very pleased with this supplement. I have included slippery elm, in capsules and now this powdered form, in my protocol for healing what I believe is a stomach ulcer/hiatal hernia. The protocol also includes mastic gum, DG Licorice, probiotics, and oreganol. I've been doing this for about 5 weeks and can't believe how much better I'm feeling. I mean to the extent to feeling like I'm cured. (I include the oreganol in case there was h-pylori infection involved). I make the slippery elm into a tea, mixing with raw honey, a little cinnamon, and even some cocoa powder sometimes for a weak hot cocoa-like drink. Taste is very mild, not an offensive one at all, and with the additions I mentioned it's similar to a buttered waffle taste. Hope this helps someone.

Bought this for my dog’s bronchial cough, but after reading all of the benefits, I started using it too. I recently had oral surgery and the inside of my mouth was very painful. I made a paste with slippery elm and water, rubbed it on swollen, painful area and the pain went away and the swelling went down. Works great for pets and humans. I highly recommend it.

I have always had a hard time going to the bathroom and I have acid reflux. Now I go often and easier and if I have acid reflux this seems to help me out! Can't beat that with a stick!

I read about Slippery Elm Bark and its uses, so I decided to check out the customer reviews. Some people were talking about the consistency of it, and how they were expecting it to be more like a gel-type substance when prepared. I use it in a tea form and I actually like it. I mix it with Green Tea and Ginger Root tea. I add a little bit of raw honey and mix. There's no bitterness and the flavor is actually pretty good..almost fruity tasting.

I ordered slippery elm after my research showed it has uses like treating IBS. During issues with the bowels, a 1/3 teaspoon works quickly and efficiently to help with cramps, bloating, and bulking stool. I am very happy with the results.
Great product, great price, fast shipping.

Description

Pure Slippery Elm (Ulmus rubra) extract powder.

I started ordering slippery elm bark for a pretty severe case of GERD earlier this year and it seems to have helped a lot. I mix roughly a tablespoon of the dried powder into about 8-10 oz of water and then drink. the mixture, which provides a coating on the esophagus. I find I get the best results when I remember to do this shortly before eating, but it also helps during GERD flare ups as well. The product is always packaged well and arrives on time.

Our homeopath Dr recommended slippery elm for stomach upset as well as respiratory issues. Love that it's natural & good for several ailments!

I purchased this for my cat who has chronic kidney disease. Rather than give him famotidine for stomach acid, I wanted to try slippery elm syrup instead, as it's natural and very safe. So far, so good. The product received is fresh and well packaged-Thank you!

Very high quality product. Very happy with price on larger sizes. Using for both cats and myself.

The bulk herb was high quality and great packaging. It was just what I needed for filling empty capsules. I ordered it to alleviate symptoms of kidney disease in our senior cat.
