I'm a collector of reading glasses. I probably have 20 pairs, all strategically placed around the house so there's a pair always within reach. But, while some are rather thin, I did not have a "half moon" pair in my collection, hence my purchase of these. Love 'em. The best feature about them (other than making me look like a professor) is that they are thin (in height) and made to sit down lower on your nose. so your far vision is unblocked, but a glance down gives you the magnification needed for reading. They've become my favorite "everyday" readers.
I needed to buy readers now that my cataract surgery left my distance and mid range vision close to perfect but my close up vision needing assistance. I work in an environment where I am constantly changing for distance and mid-range (like computer work) and reading numbers off of closely held pages. These glasses are cute and are small enough in lens coverage that I can easily look up over them or down through them. They are well made and the spring hinges make them feel pretty sturdy. The only problem I have with them is keeping the lens area as clean as I would like. No matter what kind of cloth I use, the lens area always seems to retain some smudge areas.
The glasses are pretty nice - I can look over the top of them while waiting for my new prescription glasses following cataract surgery. The only problem is the shipping delay from China and a lack of accurate tracking info. It took about 3 weeks to receive the glasses and now I'm less than two weeks away from my new prescription glasses, so these will be unnecessary then.
these glasses are what I refer to as "stackable". What I mean by that is that I can wear my regular prescription glasses and place these in front to get the magnification I need. This works sort of like a makeshift "bifocal" of sorts. They sit low enough that they don't interfere with my normal vision around the house, but if I am sitting down and crocheting or crafting, I can see the tiny stitches and details of what I'm working on. Also - it's not mentioned in the listing, but the hinges have springs, which was quite a nice surprise!
You either like them or hate them. I bought these just for reading after cataract surgery while waiting to be fitted for prescription glasses that I will probably prefer to wear full time. I have other inexpensive full size reading glasses that I prefer if I intend to spend much time doing close work. They seem to be of a little better quality than theses half size. These are handy if you are moving around and looking at different distances as you can look over the top.

SOOLALA is a professional designer and producer for sunglasses, especially polarized sports sunglasses, reading glasses, fashion sunglasses etc.
I recently had cataract surgery and now need readers to see close up. I go back and forth between looking at a computer and reading small print at work. I bought some really expensive half frame glasses from Readingglasses.com for $85 and they were so heavy my nose hurt at the end of the day. These glasses, in contrast, are light, smaller and and at $12.95 a complete bargain. I can look at the computer over the top of the glasses and then at my paperwork with no line obscuring my vision. I found absolutely no difference in the magnification or quality of my vision between the expensive glasses and these. I actually like the Soolala glasses much better. I highly recommend.
I enjoy not needing glasses for distance since my cataract surgery, but find switching back and forth between reading glasses and my bare eyes awkward. These glasses sit on the end of my nose, so that I am able to see the people and scene at work and then look at my computer without switching back and forth. I am not 100% happy about the little old lady look of walking around with half-glasses at the tip of my nose, but it's worth it to have the convenience of seeing naer and far without flipping glasses.

Looked everywhere and these are Just What I was Looking for! Had Cataract surgery so no longer needed distance glasses but for reading these 'fit the bill' and allow me to look over the half-frame and be able to drive. The case is nice, but I keep mine on a neck 'chain' to be able to drop them on my chest for full vision and put them back on my ears when I need to read a label. Going to have to get another pair just in case my wife steals these!
I need different focus strengths for different work I do (on a computer or in the shop using my hands, or reading). I ADD beyond belief. I lose expenseice bifocals and trifocals, and god forbid a $500 pair of infinites. I got these in 1.25, 2, and 3x strenghts, hoping they would be ok visually, and they are. They come with microfiber wiping and a case for each.
They aren't $500 lens clarity, of course these cost 6 or 7 bucks, and when I misplace the, they come back to me eventually, growing like seeds serendipitously cast in the house and shop.
