Good firm hold, been in use for approx 2 months now. No discomfort from it, no signs of wear yet either, very happy with this purchase.
As others have said, it does stretch out rather more quickly than expected. However, I simply readjusted the fit and trimmed the excess material. Viola! And, I continued to do so until it appears there is no more stretch left with which to contend.
It's taken almost an entire year to get to the point of my feeling as if I should order a new one. I did try a different type of strap but it covered too much of my head and made me too hot to sleep. A new one will not be "better", until it stretches fully, but I will have one to wear while the other is drying (I don't like putting it in the dryer.)
At under $20/year I feel it is well worth it.
I have bought 2 of these. One is still in the package because the first strap is holding up well after 10 weeks of nightly use. This thing can be washed with other laundry items, too. Engage the straps so none of the velcro teeth are exposed and toss it in the washer and the dryer.
My husband has a CPAP machine. He starting making a hissing noise when he slept. I had to wear earplugs to sleep. He was sleeping with his mouth open. This solved his problem. I no longer have to wear earplugs and he sleeps better. He said it is comfortable and doesn’t have a problem using it.
This is the only one that works for me when I'm wearing my nasal pillows. I have tried all the other ones. Not needed when I wear the mask.

This product isn't for everyone. If you have a toe head or oblong head it would probably come off at some point. For me with my large round head it works perfectly.
Couldn't find these. They work great for by hubby. Now he knows where to get them. They work for him.
Nice fit, better than the Basix chin strap I also tried. Keeps my mouth closed and is not uncomfortable after using for a week. The chin strap could be shaped slightly different, but it works.
Perfect fit. Wash it in lingerie bag in washer and air dry. Stands up to that great.
Just what I needed to keep my mouth from blowing open every night with the cpap. If you have that trouble, buy this today, you won't regret it!
