I frequently have a hard time sleeping at night. My mind wanders. And it doesn't want to relax until I've either solved world hunger or the weee early morning hours. Whichever comes first ;)
This was kind of a blessing in disguise. I made this purchase because I was attending a yoga conference. One of the speakers said we would need an eye pillow and so I purchased this. As it turns out we did not need it or even discuss it. I put it on my nightstand and figured I'd use it eventually. So one night when tossing and turning this eye pillow caught my eye (lol pun intended).. I put it on and it smelled so wonderful. At first I thought it smelled too strong even. But I think I fell asleep just seconds after that. Even if it was just a placebo effect I'm glad it worked :) I've been using it pretty often and it's a noticable difference. I fall asleep much faster when using it. I don't know about "better", but I think that's a mattress problem- haha.
The design is pretty, the fabric is really nice and soft and it seems to be well made. It looks exactly like the photo.
One thing I noticed immediately upon putting it on was that the velcro band kept attaching itself to my hair. The pillow part is bigger than I expected which is nice.. it's got some weight to it. I believe those are good points, but someone with sensitive eyes may find it a bit much. Also, the eye piece does not have an inner stich seperating the eyes, so if you sleep on your side expect the sand to shift with gravity. For me that turns out to be a bonus because if I sleep on my side I wake up with back pains; but I can't fall asleep on my back either... this helps as a reminder to stay on my back, so I don't have to deal with the small nuisance lol.
Also the packaging that it comes in can double as it's own storage bag if you trim the top opening carefully. I like that because it will keep it free from dust.
Overall... it's pretty, it smells nice and it was delivered quickly for a decent cost. Thumbs up
This a great product. I have had migraines for over 11 years now and this has helped not only with my migraines but also my sinus issues. After one night of use I woke up breathing better. The only reason I gave this a 4 star reacting is because after one use the stitching is starting to come undone a bit by the nose piece, nothing I can't fix, just wish I didn't have too.
Use this mask every morning when I wake up. Helps start the day by clearing up my sinuses (lavender ) and the heat on my eyes helps my vision by reducing the oil buildup under my eyelids. Only heat in the microwave for about 15 seconds. Highly recommend.
Easy to use, easy to clean and easy to store, this mask suits my needs perfectly. I have been having horrible migraines and needed a mask that could be hot or cold, or used simply to cover my lids. The lavender aids in the soothing and the natural grains give off the perfect amount of heat without drying out my eyes further. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an aromatherapy eye mask.
I use this on my face every night. The insert is removable. It does have a nice lavender smell as advertised. Doesn't hold the cold for very long, but then it doesn't freeze hard so it is comfortable and you can adjust the filling to fit your face. ( I get a similar affect to this product by filling a tube sock with rice and throwing it in the freezer).

this was great. i just wish the straps didn't break so easy.
Though these did the trick, the elastic band was a little tighter than I expected and the The ceiling and the cheerio was a little more course and I have had in the past. Not the luxury I was hoping for.
My husband uses it and really likes it. He was recommended to put heat on the eyes 2x per day by his optometrist for dry eyes... this eye pillow warms in 15-20 secs and the heat stays on for 10-15 mins. Its relatively hassel free and the lavendar aroma is relaxing.
Bought this for the wife as she uses them when she has migraines. I don't even know what to say about it other than it's a cotton material and feels like it is filled with beans. It holds heat well and the strap seems fairly durable.
I like this but I my only complaint is that the band should be longer. The mask is too tight even after adjusting the band. I bought this for my migraines I wish I could use it.
