I'm no medical expert, but had to pack a family member's wounds recently. The lodoform strips were much, much easier and less painful than plain cotton. The container makes it easy to pull out a but without the rest of the roll being exposed to contamination. Worked great and a good price.
The McKesson packing strips worked great for the wound care I needed. I was originally going to the doctor to get the would packed every two days, and that was getting tiring as well as expensive. We talked about it, and he was fine with me doing my own wound care, so I purchased the packing on Amazon and got to work. My wound healed flawlessly.
This was great. I need a refill and the only way I could get more was to get a prescription from my doctor which I didn't want to go back for. So I order them off of here and only paid 5 something for them. They came on time and some before time. They came sealed wasn't dryed out. They were perfect for me.
The headline is facetious, but for packing a narrow fistula , this 1/4” tape is great. My husband's home health nurse recommended stepping down from the 1/2” width to 1/4”. It makes a not-so-fun daily regimen a bit easier and more effective.

If you have a wound that needs to be packed...this is a great and wonderfully priced product to use. Always as your doctor before using this or any other item bought online.
Perfect for packing. The strip comes moist which is great considering some strips can be dry from other companies.
They are a very good product.. East to use, the pull out top is convenient for removing just what you need and keeping it sterile. I
would buy it again if I need to.
The collar inside the bottle makes it so much easier to get to the tape yet keep it from drying out.
