It's medium duty zipper zips from both sides to meet in the middle at the top and zips very well. The zipper pulls are standard metal and attached very well. Inside of this bag there are two mesh pockets, one on each side. One of the pockets is double mesh with a zipper between the two layers of mesh creating an extra pocket. The pocket on the other side is one layer but is divided into three separate sections. This bag is small and compact enough to fit into any smaller space, yet roomy enough to fit a very wide assortment of first aid items. This is a good size bag to fill with first aid supplies. I was able to fit quite a bit in it and still have some room. I like the fabric/zipper verses the white plastic boxes.
Purchased this bag to fill with mini-bottles of booze as a gag-gift. Perfect size. Has mesh pockets on the inside, so those little babies slid in there just fine.
