See the attached photo of chart with measurements for each size plus suggested size per your height. The chart was found at the brand's own website (link to that below if interested). Please feel free to mark this as "helpful" so others will see this necessary information when looking at the item.
As for the size-to-height suggestions, use them as a general GUIDELINE only: if you have a significant spine issue (ie, lordosis, pinched nerve, etc) or even just a preference for having your knees at a significant height when lying down, then don't go by the height chart at all. If you're still unsure of which to pick, here's my solution --and what I did myself. This little experiment helped significantly:
-- Get together a tape measure (preferably a fabric one),
pillows (couch cushions work well; it's just for a second), and if possible a second person to help you measure (this isn't a necessity but is helpful).
-- Now lie down somewhere where you may use the product, now place the pillows under your knees, tweaking them until you're comfortable with the setup.
-- As you're lying down now. have the second person measure the pillow height at your knees (in inches). Then continue with measurements across the width & length. If you're doing this solo, carefully get up (so you don't disturb your pillow setup) then proceed to measure the height, length, width.
-- Now tale those measurements (especially the height) and compare which sized items. For ex I'm just 5'2" which means I'd get the SMALL from the chart but after I did the above process, my measurements for height were even HIGHER than Large. I got a medium to be safe but it's still too small and I should have trusted my measurements.

I am 6'1" with a pant leg length of 34". The LARGE leg rest is perfect for a man my size.
I am a back sleeper, but I usually fall asleep on my side. The leg rest does not interfere with my ability to fall asleep.
I have been using a 45-degree wedge pillow to raise my head to prevent acid reflux. But every morning, I would find myself at the foot of my bed, having slid down the wedge pillow while I slept.
The wedge pillow also caused a great deal of pressure to build between the surface of the bed and the area between my lower back and upper buttock. The pressure began to cause skin-related issues that, had I been bed-bound, would have developed into bedsores.
My purpose for purchasing the leg rest was two-fold: To prevent me from sliding down the wedge pillow and to relieve the pressure on my lower back.
It has been a complete success. I have finally found the answer to a good night's sleep. The combination of the wedge pillow and the leg rest is extremely comfortable. Also, even though my head and chest are raised, my feet are now elevated slightly above the level of my heart.
The size chart is on the leg rest's packaging.
Extra small: For people up to 5'2"
Small: For people between 5'3" and 5'5"
Medium: For people between 5'6" and 5'11"
Large: For people 6' and taller
The LARGE is 20" wide, 22" long, and 10" tall at its highest point.
The leg rest also comes with a removable, terrycloth zippered cover, which can be machine washed.
If you need a leg wedge to keep your back flat on your mattress, the Jobri Spine Reliever is a very good choice, especially post-surgery of your lower back. The construction of the pillow is top quality - the foam is firm but not hard, covered with a soft microfiber fabric that can be removed for washing (wash in cold water and do not dry in the dryer to avoid shrinking at the corners). Make sure you know what size wedge you want before purchasing; the large size is 10" high and does strain the use of sheets and blankets unless you leave them untucked; not a problem in our household but could bother others. I sleep on my back and have used the medium size (8" tall) for seven years; the size is perfect for a woman 5'8" tall. I can highly recommend this product, and I am a very fussy buyer, always seeking good quality for a reasonable price.
One last note; I purchased this product through Amazon but the seller was FootSmart. FootSmart has the best customer service group ever - I ordered the wrong size for my husband the first time and Footsmart customer service was so helpful. They sent the replacement pillow out so fast it was at our door the next day. I would definitely buy from FootSmart again.
I followed another reviewers advice and did not follow the size guidelines. I am glad I did so. I like my thighs almost vertical (I learned this in PT), so measured my upper leg from my butt to my knee and ordered that height. It works great for my preferences.
The pillow itself is soft without being cushy. In other words, it supports my legs well but is not stiff or hard or in any way, uncomfortable. It is wide enough for my legs to splay if I want to do so; I don't have to keep my legs held close together to avoid falling off of the sides of the cushion. It is wide enough to be able to change the position of your legs comfortably.
Very nice quality out of the bag.
Great product, really does help help take pressure off of my sore aching back - and as an added benefit it also relieves the pain in my knees too. I had to play the sizing by ear. I had ordered the small one at first since I have the legs of a person that is 5'1" (even thou I'm 5'6", I'm very long in my body)....but I discovered that the pillow didn't raise my legs up as high as I wanted them to be raised. So I returned the small and purchased the large and that one was just perfect. I ordered one for my husband and he loves it too. I'm confined to bed 95% of the time, so that is where I use it, laying flat on my back. He uses his while sitting in his recliner and when he is in bed. He has noticed a difference in his pain levels of his back after just one week of use.....when I REMIND him to use it LOL

I haven't had back pain during my sleep since using this pillow! First, let me explain my reasoning on purchasing the size that I did. I am short, 5'3'' with stubby, short legs. I am very overweight, carry nearly all of my weight on my lower half, so my lower back pays a painful price every morning when I get up. I decided to go ahead and purchase the medium size based off of the height of the pillow. I wanted a pillow that would allow my legs to rest a little higher and not touch the mattress. This size is PERFECT! It took some time getting use to as the pillow as it is not as soft as the 3 pillows I would attempt to wedge under my knees. However, I don't know if it's me having gotten use to it or the pillow has finally gotten a little softer because now I can sleep so comfortably all night on my back and wake up with no lower back pain. Cannot recommend this pillow enough!!
This thing is awesome for my lower back pain as long as I sleep on my back all night (which can be difficult for me). Be aware though that even though I am 6' (and they claim get the large if you are 6' or taller), the large is too large for me. I only wear a 32-33" pant leg though, but I believe you'd need 36"+ legs for the large to fit. I need to contact them to see if I can exchange it for a medium. My legs below the knee hang in the air on the other side of this and the wedge pushes up against the back of my upper leg, causing my legs to fall asleep.
I had back surgery and after returning home I wanted something that would flatten my back while in bed. This leg rest is solid enough to hold your legs up while also being soft enough to be comfortable giving you a good night's rest. My legs didn't fall asleep while using it and I found I could even use it while sleeping on my side. I keep it now and use it occasionally if I have any residual back pain. I should note I originally wanted the leg rest hospitals use on MRI machines but they cost around $200. I didn't want to spend that much and I'm glad I purchased this leg rest instead. It works great.
I have been using pillows for years for my legs. They always shift during the night leaving me still hurting during the day. I got this leg rest and it was like instant relieve after a couple of days. It did take a couple of days to get use to my legs being up in the air that high, but once I did the pain is much, much better. I have been using this leg rest for 2 months now and the results are still doing great.
I do recommend you do order the pillow for your height. I am 5'7" and I ordered the pillow for 5'6" to 5'11" and if I had order any bigger I would not be able to use it. The height adjustment is correct.
Just give this leg rest a couple of days for your body to adjust and you will be amazed.
I know their have been negative reviews about the height of the pillow when you make your bed. Well if you want it to work it has to be that high. I make my bed with it on their, it does not bother me. If it bothers you, take it from under the covers and set it aside. Some of the complaints are so petty. Look at the big picture when you order this product, the relieve.
Crazy terrible sciatica. Damage to L4 & L5 vertebrae & left side of sacrum bone. This has helped me so much. I'm 5'2 and a half (specifying for those who need accuracy/exactness to find correct pillow size). This was definitely worth the money. I use it all the time. I got the size small.
