This is a great tool and can help anyone who has trouble reaching something that is out of reach! I was able to use the grabber to pull the clock off my kitchen wall in order to change the time. I have also used this to help me loosen a light bulb that needed changing on my ceiling light and also it helped me reach my shoes that were stuck under my bed but somehow were too far away for me to grab with my hand. I would recommend this to any one at any age. This is especially helpful for those that are not too tall as well.
I used to have a pick up tool that was not folded, but it was broken. Now I have bought a new pick up tool that can be folded. Just a few days ago, I went on an outing with my family.I put it in the bag.Because it folds, it doesn't need much space.I used it to clean up the garbage left over from our outing.Very simple, very convenient.I used to get frustrated about having to lean down and pick up this garbage, but now it is *almost* fun to do.
Im not elderly but i did need a longer reach to fetch leaves n sticks out my koi pond. This Reacher does the job! Love the bright green. Makes it easy to find when i just give it a toss n the back yard. The grip on this is great a tiny leaf or a stone ...not a problem! Im so happy i got this!! My old one broke and honestly sucked compared to this one. Came halfed just click one side into the other n get your snatch on!! Its not only for the old thats fasure!!!!

This is a very useful tool, and I use Reacher Grabber many times a day to pick up items. Once you grab an item, you can lock the gripper so it won't open when you retrieve it, which is a good security feature. This is my second Grabber. I have been using the first one for years and it is finally broken. Please believe me, using Grabber is really much better than empty-handed garbage. I really like it.

After looking at hundreds of grabbers, I found this great one. We play Hand & Foot 3 days a week in a Senior complex where the average age is 85 and a lot of people drop a lot of cards. A lot of the people can't bend over to pick them up, so this grabber solves the problem. By being able to fold it, it fits in my card carrying case and the rotating grabber let's people turn the head to pick up the cards if they can't twist their arms to do it.
This is a great lightweight tool of great quality. I use it to retrieve socks that fall behind my dryer as well as to hang suet on high branches for the birds!
I just got my kitchen redone and now have lots of high cabinets. So far have used it for things like getting a box of macaroni off the top shelf, and it works great. It has plastic on the gripper part that does a good job of holding on to the box. I have pretty weak hands (old injury) and was able to use it, although it did take a bit of force.
I got this for my Mom that's no longer able to step up on a step stool to reach things. She's been using it all weekend and has already mastered it! Thank you for such a wonderfully useful product at a great price! Mom is super happy and grateful for that extra bit of independence it's giving her!
