I really appreciate that Cleanwell has brought a thymol-based antisceptic spray to market. I feel way better about spraying thymol onto mine and my family's hands than i do using quaternary ammonium compounds, which can cause or worsen many health issues, or alcohol-based sanitizers, which can cause skin problems.
The product smells pretty strong, so if you're very sensitive to smells you may want to sniff some thymol essential oil first to make sure you can stand the scent.
My biggest issue with the product is the amount you get in a spray bottle. The bottle claims 225+ sprays, which I don't doubt. Unfortunately, in order for the product to effectively sanitize, you need to use 5+ sprays to get enough on your hands to rub together and cleanse. If the 225 spray claim is accurate, that's 45 or fewer uses out of a single bottle. I'd appreciate a larger spray bottle for everyday use, since the Cleanwell wipes have the opposite problem of being too big (plus you have to dispose of the wipe somewhere).
Either way, this is a great product effective against many nasty kinds of bacteria, as well as some fungus and viral pathogens. It is known to be less harmful than heavy chemical cleansers, and will help keep you and your family healthy. Thanks, Cleanwell.
I much prefer natural hand sanitizing spray to the typical gel, with alcohol. Out and about with an active toddler, it's important to have a hand sanitizer around (look mommy, doggy doo doo!), but he has a hard time working the gel around and I don't love the chemicals sitting on his hand. Or if we're not near a sink when he wants a snack, I prefer this natural sanitizer to the alcohol-based one so he doesn't accidentally get a taste of purell.
I'm not one to overly sanitize everything, but even so you never know what a kid will get into! This is a diaper bag essential
I love that these are gentle while they sanitize. It has a subtle, light smell that reminds me of herbs. It’s not a bad smell at all, and it doesn’t dry out my hands. I love it way better than gooping on that alcohol gel from those pump containers. And my hands don’t feel gross from having stuff globed all over them. It’s just a nice light spritz. My co-worker used my Clean Well spray and now she’s hooked on it too. They are a good size for travel, so I keep one in my desk and one in my purse. You don’t have to worry about it leaking either. Good stuff.
I really enjoy this hand sanitizer! The size of the bottle is perfect, it can be kept discreetly in a purse, bag, or stowed away in a glove compartment. The smell is much more pleasant than straight alcohol, and I like knowing I’m not using harsh/unhealthy chemicals on my already sensitive skin. And a little goes a long way! Just 2-3 spritzes and you’re good to go! As others have mentioned, I too keep a bottle in my car and made it through this past winter (even Chicago sub-zero temps!) without freezing up or changing the consistency. I will definitely buy this again and have recommended it to friends and coworkers!
Lol, good thing I'm in an okay mood today. Yeah, what I ordered was the ORIGINAL scent. What I got, all separate and just tossed into a box, was 2 of the regular scent, expired; and 4 of the orange vanilla, very fresh. I am not afraid to use the old stuff, though it's a bit of a disappointment because I usually give half of my order to my daughter, who doesn't prefer orange-scented stuff (or, at least didn't, previously).
AS FOR THE PRODUCT -- YES, IT'S A SUPER PRODUCT. I have no complaint with Cleanwell.
I like their hand cleaner because I have allergies and skin issues. A lot of stuff bothers my skin.
I'm giving 5 stars because CLEANWELL IS GREAT.
If I were only rating the seller -- which can get kind of shifty and vague, it seems, because it could be one of several, I think..... well, I'd change it to just 1 star.

Much better smelling than the alcohol-based sanitizers, and doesn't dry out your hands either! The original scent has a lemongrass type of scent, which is nice. I like the travel size version of this as I can carry it around in my purse.
Love this sanitizer! I purchased a pack of multiples because I wanted to have one in each vehicle, different pocketbooks etc. I’m very sensitive to chemical scents so most hand sanitizers give me a headache and make me feel sick. But this one doesn’t effect me at all! I try to avoid alcohol based hand sanitizers as well because they dry my skin out terribly. This is not alcohol based and doesn’t dry my skin! I love the compact size of these as well, they aren’t bulky and fit easily in most bags and even your pants pocket.
This is great stuff. I use it after the passing of the peace in church. My choir lead (a wonderful mezzo) said that she feels that cleaning her hands with this natural product kept her from being sick all winter. It is so fresh smelling too and not offensive like some hand sanitizers. Update March 20, 2018 still vouch for this great stuff. Use it all year long especially before and after you blow your nose or touch anything into your mouth. Use it after you shake hands or eat. Totally works, smells pleasant, isn't drying and doesn't smell like a chemical.
This smells so great! I live in the Midwest, so my hands are always dry and cracked because of the weather and this instantly makes my hands feel fantastic. I don’t have to use hand sanitizer AND lotion, just this. I’ll definitely be buying again once I’m out.
I received the pack a week ago which was expired as November 2011. That is almost 1 year expired. Be sure to check the expiration date! (The item was sold by a 3rd party vendor)

I returned the expired item which was originally sent by a 3rd party vendor back to Amazon without problems.
I then re-ordered the same product choosing the one sold by Amazon, and the items I got for the 2nd time were not expired or expiring soon.
Recently a CleanWell customer representative contacted me and apologized for the inconvenience and offered to send me another package for free.
Even though my initial review was 1 star because of the expired items, now I am updating the review to 4 star to reflect my 2nd order sold by Amazon.
