I keep one at work and one at home for my pregnancy aches and pains. I haven't had any leak problems and it does exactly what its intended for. I was advised to not use a heating pad but I just wished it retained heat a little longer. Being that I haven't used a hot water bottle before, I'm not sure how long a typical one holds heat or what the temperature has to be. But I'm satisfied with this product and the price I paid.
