You think you will remember if you took your pills that morning/afternoon or evening but it's such a routine that it is easy to forget. I first got this to sort my Dad's medication when he started showing symptoms of ALZ. Much easier to reach for today's pills in one little box than 10 pharmacy bottles! My Mom saw how great this little MedCenter was and decided she wanted one. They both put it on their bedside tables. Then I got one for travel. It's compact and easy to stash in your carry on. No worries of pills falling out with the velcro foldover cover. The plastic closure snaps tightly shut but is still easy to open. We'd had one for vitamins that was so hard to open that the pills would go flying out every time. Not this one. Even with arthritic hands it is fairly easy to open. It will fit large pills such as Janumet or Aleve easily. I like the red & green on the ends. I use green to indicate the holder is full and turn it over to show the red when it is empty. If I am going away for 2 weeks I can still make this work by using the top 2 compartments for one week an the bottom two for another. The only thing missing is a pouch to stash your medication list in. That would be a great addition on the back side of the holder if the manufacturer happens to be reading this!
I bought this for my husband. He fell very ill and will be continuing treatment for a couple of years. He takes several pills a day but at all different times of the day. This pill organizer is perfect. It has each day of the week but then there are 4 separate sections on each day. Morning,noon, evening and night. He sets up the whole week. Many of his pills look the same but having the separate compartments on each day ensures that he doesn't get mixed up and take an evening pill in the morning. Other organizers with times of day for a whole week are big and bulky. This is very compact and comes in a velcro closure carry case. You won't worry about them popping opening and losing any of your pills. I highly recommend this product.
Instead of 4 compartments a day I use only 2, morning and night, so I only have to queue up my pills every other week. As others have said, some of the compartments are hard to open at first but gets easier with use - and that's a far cry better than compartments popping open when you don't want them to. If I'm going out for the evening, I can easily bring just that day's section with me, and it won't crack/break from being carried in a purse. In one compartment I easily fit 3 large capsules, 2 medium softgels, 2 medium tablets and 2 small pills.
This is one of the best quality pill minders I have used. While it is fairly sizable, and designed for people taking pills 4 times a day, you can re-purpose it to carry up to 28 days of pills, and have them ready for long trips. The sides of the pills containers are colored red and green so you can flip them once you take your pills, and have a quick visual reminder that you have/have not taken them. The individual slots came tight and hard to open, but only took a couple uses to open more easily.
I purchased two of these - one for my husband and one for me - to take on a recent trip. Since we both only take medications in the morning and at night, we really didn't need the 4 compartments/day that this offers. Since we were gone from Sunday to Sunday, I packed 2 weeks of medications so I wouldn't have to worry about doling out pills for the upcoming week upon our return from vacation. The product did what I wanted it to. I took off one star because filling a separate item for each day's pills was a bit cumbersome compared to the pill container we normally use when we're home.

I've had one of these cases for over 3 years now. It has literally gone around the world with me, and been used and abused in all different kinds of bags. The plastic hasn't warped at all, and the lids still stay closed without any problems. I highly recommend. Great value.
This holder has a compartment for morning, noon, evening and bedtime medication. Since I only take medication twice a day, I fill the morning and noon compartments for one week and the evening and bedtime compartments for the second week. I just flip it over to the other color and I'm set for the following week. I have 2 sets and make up a month supply at a time. It is compact and travels nicely. I have had no problems with the lids staying closed.
Great Product I used these on a recent trip we took and they worked very well. The only Con is the containers. If all the other slots are full except the end one it's diffacult to insert the the very last container, it wants to get hung up on the elastic band that holds it in place. I would recommend this product to anyone taking large amounts of pills each day very roomie! buy it you'll like it!!!
I travel 80% of the time for my job, so this was perfect to organize all my supplements from my chiropractor - he has me doing 3xs/day for each. However, I have a hard time traveling with it in carry-ons because the strong smell of the supplements overwhelms my whole bag, and I can smell it on the plane. If you only need it for pills that don't have a strong odor, it's perfect. Otherwise... I would try to find another solution. I'm not sure what that is yet, though... :)
I've bought the whole system several times for relatives and recommended it to others. Fabulous. Such high quality and love this items portability. Perfect for travel when you have a good number of medications.
