We ordered the unit to serve a dual purpose. First -- as members of our local Community Emergency Response Team having such a device on hand is vital if we happen to be activated before first responders can arrive. Second -- as members of a local Great Dane rescue group we have found it difficult at times to get dogs weighing over 100 pounds to a vet in an emergency and figure to use this unit for same should the need arise.
Got it to move my 185# mastiff when he was having trouble getting up and down stairs and to the vets office. Works good but obviously needs two people or more that have the muscle umph to handle the weight.
Actually, it is the second unit I bought. We use it to transport wildlife. The last event and a test of its quality was the transport of a female lion of 150+ kg! And it performed satisfactorily. Great cost - benefit value!!! Also, the company provided a great and quick service!
After havin to beg for help to lift our large mastiff after she passed away, I had to find something to be be prepared, in an emergency.

Wonderful product and a great price. It saves our backs it my mom has a slide out of bed and we have to assist her getting up. She's 86 years old and we have to be gentle.

Item as described. I haven't needed to use it yet - luckily. I bought it because my dog is getting too big to carry for 1 person in case of emergency. Happy with the quality. Would recommend.
I bought this item for my trail crew which works deep in the backcountry building hiking trails. We haven't used it yet, but it appears to be well made and sturdy. It folds up neatly and fits inside my backpack. It's exactly as described. I'm confident it will serve the purpose when the need arises.
I bought this to help us carry large dogs from our treatment room into surgery
It works great as 4 people can now easily get around the dog and the weight is distributed equally.
