I have tiny hands. I usually wear glove size XS or small. After reading other reviews, I sized up to a medium for these and I'm pretty happy with how that turned out.
Note from my picture these are not skin-tight when sizing up. They're sufficiently snug around the base of my index finger to stay on securely, which is about all I needed. I find them comfy with this sizing but take your own needs into account.
I've never used finger cots before but I needed something over my finger for inserting vaginal suppositories without my hands smelling like medicine the rest of the day. These are PERFECT for that!
Most finger cots out there are latex, which my boyfriend's allergic to, so it was really nice to find this alternative available.
I am a massage therapist with eczema on my fingers. I use these on my middle and ring fingers when I have a flare up. Massage oil (jojoba) does not degrade the nitrile, they stay snug for the duration of the massage (60-80 min). My middle finger is 3&1/8" (7.5 cm) in length and 2.5" (6 cm) around at its widest, my ring finger is 2.75" (6.8 cm) in length and 2.25" (5.7 cm) around at its widest. Perfect product for my needs.
I've had a stubborn spot of eczema on my left ring finger for over a year. I finally realized that it was caused by an allergy to latex. The rubber barrel on my pens was the culprit. Even after I ditched the pens, the eczema persisted because it was constantly getting irritated from cooking and cleaning and hand washing. Cortisone creams didn't help much. Soaking in Epsom salts helped some, but it still wouldn't fully heal. I have nitrile gloves but because I have short fingers the ends were always too long and would get in the way when I chopped vegetables. When I learned about finger cots, I knew I had to try them, and Amazon had a good selection. I got these in a small, and they fit perfectly. My ring finger is 2.5" long, and the cot rolls down right to the base. It is snug but not too tight, and the material feels really soft, but it's very durable. Once I get it on, I practically forget it's there. It doesn't get in the way at all. And best of all, my finger is healing well now that it is protected when need be. I can wash my hands with it on if I'm careful to keep the finger vertical so water won't run inside. I put one on to eat finger food like buffalo wings, lobster, or chips. The size small fits my middle finger as well when extended to its full length (3"). It fits my thumb, too. And I've got at least a year's supply, maybe two. I love these things.
Yuuuge bag of latex-free, powder-free, nitrile finger cots. Unfortunately, I need these for work, as I have mild psoriasis on my hands and my fingers crack on occasion (I am a bartender). These definitely do the trick. They are much more durable than latex and withstand almost everything I put them through at the bar. They are also pretty true to size. I'm a big guy with large hands and the large ones fit just right, except for the rare times when I need to put one on a thumb, but they can also be stretched a bit if you need the room.
I have mild/moderate eczema on my hands, and when my finger tips get cracked these finger cots help the healing. I was using latex finger cots at first but developed a mild sensitivity, so switched to nitrile. I have finally switched to the XL size because I occasionally wear them all day and at night, so they are less binding. I am a female with average-sized hands. Wearing these not only alleviates pain from cracks in the skin during everyday tasks, but also speeds healing by preventing further drying-out. Often a crack in the finger will be much improved overnight.

These run a bit small I think. I've got average sized hands and find them to be a bit tight. Might want to opt for a larger size than you normally would. I use them to apply CA glue to pens on my lathe and have to stretch them out a bit so they don't cut off blood flow to my finger.
Great but......get a size larger for greater comfort. I typically wear a med in latex cots. I slice my index tip off...ouch! Generally I prefer nitril over latex due to durability. They are thick and not as playable as latex. I had to stretch them a little to get them comfortable. Even then they slightly tight. Overall a solid product.None broke while working which latex cots always did for me. I will be getting a large next time.
Like they protect my husbands fingers but my hubby wears a med size glove but we had to reorder x large finger cots and they are almost too small for his thumbs. I think they must run smaller than normal
Make sure you check sizing, they run a little small.
Its a good product but just be aware that the small are realll really small and its so tight I have a really hard time getting it on. its more for children than adults.
