I use these every month to keep my septic running smooth. It is great to get 12 in one container. In the past I bought packs of three and had to get more every three months. Now I have a years supply and could not be happier.
I have been using this type of product in my septic for over 10 years and have never needed to have my septic pumped.
These look and act the same as the other brands so I have no doubt they will do the same job. If something goes wrong this year of using this product, I will update this review.
This was the first time I've ordered a product from Obsession Products. What I ordered is not a glamorous or trendy product :-) ...it's workhorse product that is necessary for our septic systems. I have maintained septic tanks (our home has 2) on my private property for years. I've used live bacteria for the past several years and have noticed how well the tanks are maintained by reducing the solids and sludge which has meant I call out the pumper less. The previous product I used was a loose mixture of bacteria that I scooped out and into the toilet to flush into the Septic tank. It was messy because they spill out of a scoop easily. They are thousands of smaller-than-a-grain-of-sand bacteria that float in the toilet water so it usually took several flushes of water to get them completely flushed down.
The septic tank treatment that was delivered from Obsession Products is in easy to use packets. No scooping, no spills and it flushes straight down- no wasted water. The delivery was on time and I will order from them again.
In small print, it says to use TWO packets if you have a 1500 gallon septic tank. So, with this in mind, it's only a 6 month supply.
I've been using the name brand product for years. It continues to become more and more expensive. I decided to give this product a try. I'm impressed worth the packaging, and the idea of measured doses instead of a box I have to determine how much to use. Will update my review after a few months of use.
Since I just received the treatment, there's no way I can really write a review of its performance, as it will take months to know if it is doing its job (or simply knowing you have no issues!). But I will say this - I did much research on similar products, due to a request from my plumber that I needed to use such a treatment to help prevent potential problems. So many reviews were positive for this particular product. I love the 12-month supply, the small round container which holds the supply, and the way each month's supply is packaged individually. I did not want to deal with measuring powders! And the price was slightly better than competitors. That's always a plus!

It's really too early to tell if the septic system is more efficient since I have only just used the septic tank treatment a few days ago. Generally, this type of treatment takes a while to start noticing a result. All I can say is so far so good. The product comes ready to flush. No need for scoops or messy powders. I like the fact the product is not loose and flying up in your face when you deposit it for flushing. I am sure I will probably order again because the company is well known and the delivery was fast.
We just had a new septic tank installed and wanted to make sure we started off on the right foot with preventive measures and the like. Found this product online and decided to give it a try. The seller contacted us soon after to make sure the delivery and product met our standards. Our only concern was that the tub the packets are in was not sealed, but I suppose it may be because each of the packets is already individually encapsulated. 5 stars on the customer service. It's too early to tell how effective it is, so I can't comment on that yet, but we've had no problems so far.
I've had other active enzyme products. This was actually a easy to read and use. Your can't go wrong here.
These are a preventive measure so it's hard to evaluate how well they are working, however we believe they will lengthen the life of our septic system.
