Traditional windless or elastic tourniquets are essential, but they have their limits. I'm not sure these new 4 inch Israeli bandages can apply the same presure to shut off a busted artery, but they are truly multi use from head to toe.
I'm considering reducing the amount of individual large bandages in my trauma first aid kits in place of more of these Israeli bandages.
I definitely recommend you buy several, but open one up and see what it's capable of and the many ways it's useful. Check out YouTube for more information. You don't want to be in an emergency while trying to open and learn about an Israeli bandage for the first time. Buy it, train with it, keep it close.
I also recommend to open the outer seal and carry the clear plastic wrapped bandage to save room in your kit.
1 is none, two is one, three is fun, and double digit amounts means many lives saved.
Everything I expected. I've used before. They are easy to use and are a must have item in any kit.
I added this to my first responders bag. It is a nice compact package.
Just what I wanted
this is a product you hope you never need

Description
The T3 Bandage provides a multifunctional solution to a wide range of injuries in a compact package. While facilitating the treatment of conventional wounds, abdominal and large wounds, amputations, entrance/exit wounds and more, the bandage allows cleaning, packing, coverage and compression of single and multiple wounds. This all-in-one bandage reduces the amount of equipment military personnel carry and is suitable for first aid combat emergency kits. The bandage is easily applied by untrained personnel and makes an ideal personal field dressing for every soldier. The T3 Bandage features a fully expandable and detachable large sterile dressing pad, and elasticized cloth leader, an easy to use closure bar and an extractable gauze for cleaning/packaging and secondary wound dressing. First Care's emergency Israeli bandages are the best bandages in the world, produced in Israel for the American military. They are developed and manufactured as innovative first-response medical products to improve field hemorrhage control and to save lives. These bandages has been adopted by military and civilian organizations worldwide.
The T3 bandage is the best pressure bandage you’ve never heard of. An Israeli army medic invented and developed the “Israeli bandage” in the 1980's and 1990’s with funding from the Israeli government. Later he created his own company (First Care, in 1995) while still on active duty (until 2006). However, this bandage was not used in the Israeli army. It was first used by NATO soldiers who experimented with it in Bosnia in the late 1990’s, then by American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan in the early 2000’s and only made its way to the Israeli army later. PerSys Medical in Houston, Texas, had already acquired First Care. So, technically, the Israeli Bandage is American now. The T3 bandage is impressively versatile and includes 3 inches by 3 yards of fairly thick elastic gauze tucked into a loop at the beginning of the bandage. You can use this loop to slide your fingers or your whole hand into it and easily make a pressure bandage for your hand, wrist, or forearm from there. Easy self-application compared to the competition. The second pad provided at exactly the same dimension (7" x 3.5") as the first one is detachable (attached, it opens to make a big 7" x 7" square together with the fixed pad, but it is not thick; the original fixed pad is not thick, either (a cheap 5x9 CVS surgical pad is almost the thickness of both pads put together). However, it will do for a secondary wound or exit wound, or to double the first pad. Also, as shown in a promo video, you could even shove that secondary pad in a large wound for packing. The Israeli bandage is more difficult to use than a North American Rescue 4-inch bandage, is not as strong or thick, and requires more work to get the same pressure applied to the wound. North American Rescue knows what they’re doing, and their bandage (green ETD package, not the white civilian package) is superior: you can fairly easily get the same pressure you get from the overhyped Israeli “pressure bar”. Obviously, North American Rescue bandages are more intuitive to use. What made me switch to carrying the Israeli T3 bandage in some of my setups was the second pad and the gauze (everything is sterile). They bring the bandage to another level, and when you get the vacuum-sealed packed bandage out of the first packaging, it is barely bigger than the original simple Israeli bandage (I would leave it double-packed if you have the space). By the way, the T3 by PerSys is not a knock-off, it is the real Israeli bandage made by the same company which makes all real Israeli bandages. Fantastic product. You save space in your kit and feel less pressure to include separate gauze or an additional pad. Also carries well in a jacket pocket. Highly recommended.
Arrived on time and in excellent condition. Vacuum sealed in rugged heavy duty plastic. Looks and feels more than capable for any extreme condition. Exceeded my expectations.
I am very pleased with the product and like the utility of the T3 bandage. The T3 is now my standard emergency bandage for my famly. Package arrived quickly and perfectly packed. I am sure I will be ordering again.
Didn't open it, but looks like an excellent product.
A must for your first aid kit.
