By far the best back brace I've ever bought, and I've bought many! This brace doesn't slide up or down, is firm enough that it doesn't fold when moving around, and it tightens using a pulley system so it can be as tight as I want it to be. I wish I bought this sooner, my back is feeling totally fine now but I wear this to bea still almost every night because it feels great!
One of the wisest purchases I have ever made! Thanks to all the reviewers who influenced my purchase. I had major back surgery in 2014 (diagnosis was stenosis). Deemed successful and I have had no major set backs since. I am an advocate of exercise and diet which has helped too. However, with that being said, I still experience stiffness and soreness in the lower back region after rigorous workouts and definitely working around the house. I'm 71 years old and determined not to quit being active. This back brace is positively amazing. Great support and comfort. Quality construction. After I'm finished working in the yard (bending, stooping and lifting) I can honestly say I have absolutely no major discomfort except for a normal 71 year old's fatigue. Really heavy duty back brace. Adjusts easily and fits about 33 inch to 42 inch. Possibly a little more adjustment on both ends.

I've worn back braces off and on for years but could never seem to get them tight enough to protect my back when lifting things. When I saw the Koksport back brace with the "pulley system" I was intrigued and ordered one to try. It was evident after just removing it from the package that this back brace is designed to allow the wearer to vary the support to fit the task. It is quite easy to adjust the support by pulling on the straps as shown
in the image. You do not have to exert much effort or be real strong to get the brace adjusted to your needs or comfort level. It truly deserves a 5 star rating.

Had a few before, could never get them tight enough to feel very supportive. Now I may have higher expectations for support but this one can shove your guts deep up into your torso if you want it to, and I do.
Its also very quick to change support. Pull off the straps, flex your abdomen and shes back loose again. Awesome for getting comfortable before getting into a car or seated position without taking it off.
I put this on as a preventative measure at work when I'm doing risky stuff like digging and carrying lots of weight for a while.
You would be crazy to say this is enough support to wear during squats, deadlifts and really rigorous activities. Velcro has limits and a full pressure flex can losen it. So grab a big leather unit for that stuff, for anything else this works great!
Does it's job. Only problem I had was the stitching on the Velcro came loose on one area. I had to sew it back down. Otherwise I like it. Really helps my back pain.
I have had back trouble for years and have tried several "back support braces", for when I'm outside working, and have never had one that even came close to this one. It provides incredible support and one hates to take it off. Either pay half that much for a "stretchy" type back support that won't do much and not last very long, or pay more and get one that you will absolutely love. You will not be sorry for this purchase.
Have hardly been able to do anything for months. This Brace really works and now I am able to function again all day long. I have damage to my lower back spine and this does the trick. Very Much Worth the Buy.
I got the belt yesterday, haven't used it yet, so these are my first impressions. It came in a plastic bag without any paperwork or instructions. For $50, I expected something more formal. I can't even tell if I did not get a returned item. The belt somehow loosened into three pieces as you can see in the picture and I am now figuring it out how to put it back together. The pieces join with velcro but considering there is nothing extraordinary about the canvas type material which is though of good quality, isn't the price a little high? Probably its the design that makes it worth it, only time will tell but hoping for the best.
After having used it on the golf course, I have added a star to the rating. It helped decrease my back pain and I was able to score much lower than my recent outings
