I bought a set for myself and for my brother. If you are like me, and don't like the 7-day pill box things, but then can't remember if you took your meds because it's so automatic to you, this is perfect. I have been using it for at least a month or so and have never missed a dose, or had to wonder "did I already take these?" My brother, is one of those who just forgets to even look at it, and doesn't actually use it correctly. Doesn't help him and he was the main reason I wanted to try it. His meds are crucial and he still isn't taking them all the time. So I have now ordered him one with an actual alarm that will beep and/or vibrate. Just depends what kind of person you are and what the issue is. If you just need something to keep you on track, this works great for me.
For ancient people like me, these caps are the solution to my problem: Did I remember to take my BP med this morning or not? How about last night's med?
The caps don't fit the pill containers my pharmacy uses, but no matter. I printed labels and used the containers that came in the package.
First-time users, two tips:
1. You need very strong fingers or a pair of pliers to pull out the thing plastic barrier that uncovers the battery end so it will start working.
2. Don't force-tighten the caps. Just screw them on lightly. You can tell when it's tight enough when the timer starts counting up.
My prescriptions are managed much better now with these TimerCaps. It is important to take my meds at exact times and I take as I take 8 doses a day. They are handy for travel, and if one dose is a little off schedule you can quickly adjust for future dosages.
This is my second batch and had one timer not working in each batch, but battery life of timers are otherwise good.
These bottles are great. I had timer caps that were the push and turn type that fit regular pill bottles. They would occasionally accidentally open in my pocket, spilling the pills and resetting the timer. These caps just screw on like a regular drink bottle, so the cap stays on tightly. They're smaller than regular pill bottles, but they still hold plenty of pills, while still being convenient for travel.

The bottles are too small but they do fit nicely on a bottle of Zatarains gumbo file spice. Which has the advantage of being clear so you don’t have to open the bottle to see how much is in there.
