I used it for post-op knee replacement surgery rehabilitation. Overall, this worked really well. The bag stayed cold longer than any gel pack I've ever had. (And if you find a longer lasting gel pack, please message me. I want in!) The bag and straps were thick, well-made, and reasonably effective at keeping the ice in place. It probably wouldn't stay on if you went for a jog, but shifting positions was fine.
The only two minor notes were insignificant enough we'd still buy another one.
1) The velcro straps, when I wasn't careful, sometimes irritated the skin. But I became more careful and voila, no more frustration!
2) For knee replacement surgery, which obviously involved a large area of trauma to the knee, the bag was often times uncomfortably cold. Direct skin contact felt like pins and needles in the joint. This was an easy fix. To avoid direct contact to the skin, put a rag or a hand towel on the skin. This point is really indicative of the injury than the bag. Frankly, this probably isn't a concern for people who don't have hypersensitive injuries. And even if it is, it's a lot easier to control something that's too cold than something that's not cold enough.
Overall, this is a good product. I'd buy it again.
This is an amazing design, very comfortable and effective. I primarily used the ice pack with strap for a shoulder injury.
The strap allowed me to Ice my shoulder in the morning while making breakfast or even driving, the strap is very comfortable and holds the ice pack in place perfectly.
Regarding the ice pack, it seals well although I did fall asleep on it once, rolling onto it and it did release its water which I think is understandable. Under normal use, it does not leak. The ice pack is also made of nice material which is comfortable to touch and helps reduce the shock factor when initially putting the ice pack on your skin.
This is the first ice pack I've owned and I don't know how I waited so long.
This has been a true lifesaver when my daughter got shinsplints and when my mother cut her leg badly. You could adjust the pressure that you want to hold the bag on and yet it kept it from falling off with somebody would move. You can even walk around in them. We have them that you use the gel insert packs but you have to have so many of those on hand and in the freezer and it is so much easier when you have an ice maker to just be able to use the old fashion bags pop them in and dump when you’re done. Great idea
I tweaked one of the tendons in my rotator cuff and it's been bothering me for the past few weeks. I figured the best way to ice it would be with an ice pack that can strap to my shoulder and I love it. It's simple, affordable, and American made. Hopefully I don't have to use it often but I love it so far.
This is an amazing design, very comfortable and effective. I primarily used the both ice pack and hot pack for my knee after sport activity. The strap is very comfortable and holds the ice pack on my knee perfectly. The cap sometime has water leak if not twisted on REALLY tight, I put some pipe type on the cap to fix the leaking issue. overall it is good ice pack, really recommend.

Description
For Waist Pain Relief
I bought two different knee wraps so I could choose the one I liked. This was the winner, hands down. The other wrap was from North American. It only has the wrap that attaches to itself without the extra straps that this Creatrill has. I tried several times to use the North American wrap, without success. It's design could wrap around my knee when the ice bag was attached, so it was useless. And it's strap rubs against the skin behind my knee! Ouch!
This brand has the basic wrap AND two straps. Those straps make all the difference. I got the bag attached to my knee rather easily, using the straps. It stays in place, and is comfortable. Luckily, I thought I'd like this design better and ordered two. I'm very pleased.
If you're looking for an ice bag wrap for your knee, or other parts of your body, I highly recommend this wrap!
BTW, I also used my large 11" diameter ice bags, and it works great! I'm VERY pleased with it. Well worth the extra couple of dollars!
Nice quality. Wish the cord was a little longer. I have just enough room to strap this on my knee and my in bed (around 6 feet possibly). Wish it was a little longer so I could roll from side to side with this on.
I had to use this on my shoulder but found it difficult at first to put on. I was hurting my shoulder trying to put ice on my already hurt shoulder! Lol, once I added the extender straps and figured out the best way to maneuver it, I haven't had any problems since. The detachable, waterproof ice pack works great, keeps the ice cold for a long time but not too cold to apply directly to skin.
Why couldn't this product have come out years ago? This is perfect for the athletes in your household or the aging joints. Definitely buying another as it's already been claimed by the athletes in the house.
Ordered this because of a shoulder injury recently and it's exactly what I ordered and works great with the adjustable Velcro straps. So far I've used it to ice my shoulder & will be using it soon as a hot water bottle of sorts. Make sure to read packaging as it says specifically what heat temps to not exceed when filling with hot water.
