I am so glad I did some reading around the different types of fillings for heating pads and ordered this one which is currently not available from UK based suppliers. The removable cover in a practical dark colour is also a feature many of the others don’t have. As noted by others it is heavier than similar products with alternative fillings but this is not an issue for me. The size and shape are just right. I experimented with the timing but think by doing 30 seconds and shaking the contents in between, you will find the right timing for your microwave and comfort level. I used this on arrival and will be recommending to others.
So the scent many reviews commented on is lavender and I love it! The weight is perfect and it retains heat for a fair amount of time. The shape is very comfortable. Haven’t had it super long but for the time being, big fan.
This is a great little tool! It fits great around my big neck, it's heavy enough to stay in-place. It stays warm for about 30 min and then I repeat the warm up cycle if needed. Mine is scented slightly, smells like massage oils, and doesn't upset my allergies!
We love them,and have used them everyday since we received them! They are comfortable and we put them in microwave for 1 min and 30 sec...just perfect! We were glad we got two of them because we both use them. Thank you for a wonderful product!
First off, this thing is LONG around the neck AND the shoulders. It has nice weight, prob about 3 lbs so it won't slide off. I heat it for a minute on HIGH, then flip it, heat another min twenty on the other side. heat lasts about half an hour. Very pleased over other products from other brands.

I have used different ones through the years for neck pain, this is by far the best one yet. Moist heat, stays hot much longer than the other ones I used.
Have only used it twice. Like the way it fits on my neck.
