What sold us was the modular refills, vastly simplifying the logistics of keeping the kit stocked and up to date.
We showed it to some potential users in our shop; they immediately thought: "why is the printing on the items so small, you need glasses to read which box is "bandaids", etc.
So, after fumbling around we realized that the top halves of all the little boxes are supposed to be ripped off by the customer upon receipt and prior to installation, so, in a pinch anyone can see the "bandaids" without reading the fine print. All the little boxes are perforated so the tops can be removed and the bottoms act as little caddies for all the items. The photos show what the kit looks like when first opened, and how the little boxes look before and after removing the perforated boxtops.
Inside the left door there is a tear away trauma pack with sterile gauze pads, scissors, and a first aid booklet.
We will add a SWAT-T Tourniquet, Orange and CELOX Granular Hemostat Blood-Clotting Crystals, 3 Count for severe trauma wounds, but hopefully we will never need that.
After we figured out to remove all the boxtops, it all makes sense and we feel like we got a well-thought out kit that will get used, and maintained thanks to the modular refill kits.
