I hurt my back doing yoga a few years back and it's been bothering me ever since. I tried massages, stretches, and medicines. They all help, but none of them seemed to fix the issue. I just accepted that I would have back pain for the rest of my life. When it comes to pain management, every little thing you do helps. It makes a huge difference if you put something in your daily routine and stick to it. Exercise is definitely the best thing to do in a long term. Regular massages help too, but that can be quite costly. Chiropractic adjustments are just a waste of money. I would say exercise plus regular heat and ice therapy is the best PROVEN method out there.
If you overwork your back, immediately ice it and give it a rest. Then, follow up with heat to keep the blood flow and accelerate the healing process. Pretty much all professionals and experts recommend heat/ice therapy. Plus there are no drawbacks.
That being said. I was looking for a small heating pad to wrap around my back. I can use a big one and lay on it, but I'm not really the type to sit still when I'm at home. So I wanted something that I can move around a bit. Of course, this is not wireless ( I don't think there's a wireless heating pad out there. At least at this price point anyway.). This heating pad has a relatively long cord that you can plug it in a kitchen and do your kitchen work or plug it next to the couch watching tv and stuff.
The pad heats really fast. There are 6 heat levels. I tried level 6 and it was a little too hot. Pretty much heated up within a minute and you can feel it working fast. Level 2~3 provides more than enough heat to keep your muscle relaxed and keep your blood going. 6 heat levels are enough to get the temperature you need.
Like any pain management, this won't eliminate all the problems you have. But it definitely helps. The pad and wrap work great for wrapping around your back. Get this one if you're looking for a heating pad.
It is lightweight, very SOFT and yeah I'm using this every night to keep my foots warm while a sleep, and the good is that it auto shut off in 1.5 hours (I usually fall sleep and forget to shut it off).
I also use this to warm my baby's towel and sometimes i use it to warm my breasts before I pump my breastmilk (ohh and it comes with an elastic band)

There’s nothing worse than awkwardly trying to maneuver a plastic heating pad that has a cloth cover, especially if I am likely in pain hence the reason I need the heating pad. I feel like I can never get them to Lay flat, the plastic always ends up all jumbled and rigid, especially if I am sleeping on it. I love the soft casing on this and the texture. I also like how long and narrow it is so it can heat my whole back or leg or whatever I’m using it for.
There are only 2 cons I’ve found with using this. First is the lack of auto off. I use this in bed at night and hate to sleep wit it on. I wish it had an auto off. The other thing I don’t like is that the control box stays lit up. Not a giant deal since I can jus turn it over but annoying.
Overall I really like this heating pad and can. Ow throw away my plastic one.

Bought this as its getting colder and the snow has started to fly. Can honestly say this blanket has been so great around the house. Love that its so soft to the touch and that I can wrap it around my shoulder or back with the elastic band provided. Also very handy that it has more than 2 settings like some other cheaper pads I had seen in the store. Love to snuggle up with this on the couch when we watch movies in the evening. Would be great for camping too. Highly recommend!

I’m sprawled out on my bed lifelessly with this heating pad right under my back. Nice and warm on setting 3. I think I might just pass out. Excellent.
I have a sore neck, shoulders and cold feet. Hence, I decided to try this. Here are my feedbacks.
Pros:
1. This is super soft to put it on the bare skin if you need to.
2. It's small and the cord is long enough for you to sit on the couch and plug it on the wall. Confirm before you buy. Worked out great for me.
3. It heats up pretty fast. Once it heats up, you can turn down the heat to 2-3 for comfortable heat as you warm up.
4. Great to put it on the sore spots such as neck, shoulder, knee.
Cons:
1. I wish the cord was longer but it's never enough however long cord you have. So, no big deal for me personally.
5. The heat automatically shuts off after 3 hours (I think). So, it's great for the night time or when you are trying to fall asleep. However, it's little annoying during day time when you want to heat coming all the time. Yes, it's something like a blessing and a curse.
This heats up immediately and I love that. I like that it has 6 heat settings, that it turns off automatically after 1.5 hours.
The feel of the material is fantastic even if you can feel a little bit the wiring inside.
Size is good, not too big so I’m able to wrap it around my legs when I have some contractures but big enough to use it underneath me for my sore back when I go to sleep.
Oh and as crazy as it can be, it’a machine washable too !! (I didn’t try yet tho)
I hesitated at first with models with moist heat therapy, but I don’t really trust the humidity/electrical mix :)
Anyway, at first it was a little tool for me and my constant back pain but my wife ended up using it every night to warm up her spot on the bed so I guess it’s good!
I reviewed a ton of heating pads after my trusty heating pad finally died after 10 years (it was a sad day). Thankfully, Amazon to the rescue, and this heating pad is a great replacement. It’s super soft, and large enough for me to wrap around my waist, when I have PMS or back pain, as well as wrap around my leg or knee for joint pain. I have arthritis literally everywhere, and an experience pain on some level 24/7. This heating pad gets hot enough and really eases the aches and pains, especially in the mornings and at night, before and after I get into bed. I do wish that there were a setting to turn off the timer. I think this is 90 mins, which is not bad, but I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night without the heat, and wish that it could just stay on. Other than that, tho, this was a great purchase and I don’t regret it!
This pad is large enough to cover a major portion of any area you are trying to treat. The heat is even throughout the pad. The pad itself is soft and easy to roll up and store in the drawstring pouch. You won't be disappointed with this fine quality product.
