This mask is wonderful! The space for your eyes is so important. It has great coverage. A tiny bit of light can be seen through the nose part but really nothing at all. This mask has changed my sleeping life!

I work varying shifts at work, so sometimes I have to sleep during the day rather than at night. The problem is that my room has a few small windows that don't have a shade, so sunlight naturally comes in. Personally, unless the room is dark I find that I have difficulty falling asleep. I have an old sleep mask that I use, but it began to fall apart and was unusable. I looked on Amazon for a replacement, when I came upon this pair. The price was right so I placed my order.
When they arrived, the material they were constructed from was much softer than I expected them to be and looked in the stock photos. The combination of memory foam and the soft material was both comfortable and form fitting to my face contours. Of the two, I preferred the one with the nose cutout, as it fit my face better and blocked out all of the light.
A few days worth of testing during my daytime sleep sessions led me to conclude that this mask is a winner. It's comfortable, soft, form fitting, stays put, and blocks out all the light. Once I put it on, I hardly knew I was wearing it at all.
For those of you who need to sleep during the day and have a room that gets a bit of sunlight, I recommend you purchase a set of these sleep masks.
I've ordered quite a few sleep masks on Amazon and never thought too much about them, but this is the first pair that I'm genuinely impressed by! The pair without the nose section works the best for me, so that's pretty great that they send you two different pairs in this purchase. The material used completely BLACKS OUT any light, like legit, when you take these off after being asleep, it's almost blindingly bright, such a stark difference from completely black to brilliantly bright from the sunlight.
So far, I have been sleeping like a baby, with these sleep masks. I'm really sensitive to sound and light. I have tried both masks, and I prefer the one, without the nose cover. My next door neighbor, loves to take a shower, right when I'm about to sleep, and my damn window blinds, doesn't block the light FULLY, projected from his bathroom window. His house and mine, are close to one another. Unfortunately, I don't have a wall, high enough to block out his bathroom light. Lo and behold, I stumbled upon these sleep masks, and I yelled out "ALLELUJAH!" Problem solved!!! :D They are EXTREMELY comfortable, the Velcro strap is not discomforting, I don't even feel it, no pressure felt while wearing it, I say it blocks 99.50% of light and I'm 100% satisfied of my purchase. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone, who is a "light sleeper" and would LOVE to have a good night's rest, get these masks!!
So, I had ordered two masks previously and wrote a pretty scathing review.
I'm glad to say that the company (although they did not have to because it was past the 30 day return period since I received the item when I wrote the review for the masks) actually contacted me several times asking me if I would like full refund or to try out their new design.
I opted to try out the new version and I'm glad I did.
The new design actually has some major improvements . Although I still have an issue with the way the mask itself fits around my nose . The new design incorporates padded circles around the eye areas that block out any light that may get in around the nose area . The only other issue may have is that the newer design comes in a box that contains a satin bag which I assume is for storage, unfortunately the bag is too small to actually store the mask in without folding in half, which over time would affect the way the mask fits. They also give you a storage container with two ear plugs in it as an extra bonus.
If I could, I would like to give this four and a half stars but that's not an option on Amazon at this time.
I feel that this mask is more than adequate for any daytime user. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who asked.

My husband wakes up at 4am from work and often says he cannot sleep due to the bathroom light being on while the kids shower. I figured a sleeping mask would help with that problem. You get two masks in the package. I got solid black ones for him and I.
It's shaped to fit around your nose. Very breathable and comfortable. Has elastic to adjust head size. Works well. Blocks out light perfectly to sleep.
These are great quality, the material is comfortable on the skin, and they came in very nice packaging. Unfortunately, they aren't contoured enough for my needs. I like to be able to fully open and close my eyes while wearing a contoured sleep mask, without my eyelashes dragging across the interior of the mask. These just aren't contoured enough for me to do that. For reference: My eyelashes are what I would consider medium length (not super long by any means) and I don't wear false lashes or have lash extensions. Since the quality of these masks is quite good, I'll be gifting them to someone who may not be as picky as me about the eyelash rubbing issue.
Morning light has always been a big problem to me. No matter how late I slept in the previous night, I just could not sleep any longer when the sun lights up my room through window before the alarm clock ringing. I’ve tried this mask for several mornings. It worked great on me. I do not wear it all night because that might be too oppressive to me. I only put it on my eyes when the first sun light comes to my room trying to wake me up, with this mask I can fall asleep again. I've never really tolerated eye masks before because they are uncomfortable or just don't fit quite right. However, the one mask with the nose covering portion is a game changer. I used it on my 12 hour flight to Tokyo to nap and I loved it! It's incredibly comfortable and the material is very soft against my skin. I never thought I would find a decent eye mask made of something other than velour or that silky satin type material. It's super cheap and you get two (I gave the non nose covering one to the person sitting next to me on the flight haha).
My partner and I describe these as face bras, because that's exactly what they look like. They're more comfortable than a cheap face mask but they do let in some light. My partner uses this every night for sleeping; I used it occasionally for travel but much prefer the Makebies with the eye cups, which blocks out all of the light.
