I peed everywhere. That bush? Yep. Peed on it! That tree? Uh huh. Peed on it. Those tiny woodland creatures? Screw you, b*tches! Peed on them. I peed in the sun. I peed in the rain. I peed just for fun. I peed down a drain. I peed in the light. I peed in the dark. I peed left and right. I peed in the park.
You just hold it in place, pull your pants down just enough for it to stick out and pee. No taking your pants all the way off. No squatting. No accidentally peeing down the side of your leg. When you're done you just shake it out, rinse it if you can, and stick it back into the container. Easy PEEsy.
The directions say to try this at home first in your toilet. I did not do that and it was fine....HOWEVER.... My friend, on the other hand, who also got a GoGirl for our long weekend adventure, tried it for the first time after several bottles of wine. She didn't pee on anything. Except herself. So maybe follow the directions unless you're as awesome as I am, especially if you've gone through, like, a bottle and a half of red AND white wine in like 45 minutes. I'm just sayin'.
Also, mine is lavender and hers is khaki, I don't think that made a difference in pee skill, but I feel like I was more fashionable when doing it. They should make more colors so a girl can coordinate her PEEnis with her outfit.
Either way, I can't wait until winter so I can try to write my name in the snow.
I don’t know what to at first. I am happy with joy. I am suffering from UTI and this thing helped me to be more protective now I don’t mind going to any public toilet because I don’t have to sit.
Ok so... I got this for hiking but figured it’s best to test out at home first! If you wear tight jeans and any form of underwear using this by just unzipping your pants is impossible. I tried, for a while. Then I gave up undid my pants and was able to use the go girl once my pants were below my butt. It was easy to use at that point although I found I had to lean back a little to make sure I didn’t get pee on my clothes.
So if you want something so you don’t have to squat (which is full of worry - falling over, poison ivy, snakes, needing to suddenly run cuz something dangerous just showed up) this is perfect. Especially if you wear skirts!!! But know you will still be exposed some if wearing jeans.
I am not sure how I've managed without one of these. This particular brand is by far my favorite because the material is such that it will contour to your body and form a better seal.
As an avid motorcyclist, I often ride in a leather suit. As such, popping a squat is a major chore, and trying to keep your one piece suit from hitting the nasty floor in public restrooms is nearly impossible. I haven't tested this under those circumstances yet, but I expect that this will be a gamechanger in that department.
The biggest issue I had was making sure not to let the funnel drip onto my pants/chonies. But having your TP on hand will greatly reduce that issue. I went camping with it on Friday and had no issues.
This product has been a so wonderful for me. I have IC and always have to go. I take it with me whenever we go out on the lake or whenever I think I’ll need it. Also, it’s really cool getting to pee standing up and having aim ha ha.

This is a great product! I used it for a cross country road trip so that I didn't have to deal with the splash zone that comes along with trying to pop a squat in the bushes. There's a little bit of a learning curve to it, however, so here are my biggest tips:
1- you gotta lean way, way into it. Put your legs out wide (a bit past shoulder width) and lean forward. It helped me to brace against the car door for balance. If you try to just stand around like a dude and let it go, you're gonna end up with that weird "wicking" thing that happens when pee runs up your buttcrack and then has nowhere to go... so it goes up and out onto the back of your pants, which are undoubtedly stretched between your knees.
2- Combo tip: if you're trying to pee inside a confined space, remember that silicone/rubber has its limits. I tried to use it while kneeling AND peeing into a plastic bottle, and first the funnel part formed a seal against the bottle rim because I didn't leave a gap for air to vent, but THEN as a result of not being able to vent, the pee backed up into the funnel, and i was squatting, so I ended up folding the whole thing in half by accident and... dumping an entire funnel worth of urine all over myself, my pajamas, and my backseat. So yeah. Make sure you don't let it fold or get squished, and let it vent if you're using it in an airtight container.
Besides those two lessons I learned the hard way, this device is awesome. Keeps you from having to totally bare-ass it in poison ivy while hiking, allows you to take a (moderately) indiscreet pee along the side of the highway, and makes it so that you don't have to stop at sketchy or unsanitary rest stops.
I saw a friend of mines with a female urinal and I started looking online for something I could use on the go because I am a driver always on the road. When I brought this Go Girl I had to practice it at home several times before I actually used it on the road. I recommend you practice practice practice until you understand how you can hold it tightly against your lady parts so you won't get urine on your clothes or yourself. I got fustrated but I did not give up. I kept on trying. Once I figured out how to use this things its no stopping me now. I keep my clorox wipes and a empty water bottle and I'm good to go...no more holding pee for me...Lol : )
I tried watching youtube videos but that didn't help they just kept showing dumb videos that was pointless and didn't teach me how to use the Go Girl. No one knows your body like you do ladies
Well let me tell you I purchased this GO GIRL after I returned another manufacturers urination device for poor quality.
This is the real McCoy Ladies. I used it the first time like a champ, no spills. Do not listen to the nay sayers, it does not come better than this. Good quality medical grade silicone. You must hold firmly the 2 upper tip edges against the front and back of your labia, hold it secure, and pee gently at first to see what it does and the wide rim tucks around for a great seal . I finished with no drips, easy to rinse and dry and fold away. I got the camou color. Thank you Go Girl for making a quality product, I have been liberated!
Practice makes perfect! My husband and I love to go hiking, so I knew I could make great use of this. It works just as expected as long as you use it as directed. I also love the compact holder that it comes in; it's reusable! Also, this material is made to not let liquid cling to it (just in case you don't immediately have access to water or any way to clean it after use). This is perfect for any woman who loves to be outdoors, but doesn't always have access to a bathroom.
I bought this to use for a backpacking trip. This is a very useful product and came in handy during my trip. I looked at other products with a similar purpose but I am so glad that I bought this product because it is a cylinder (and not like a troft) which controls the liquid that moves through it without spillage or spraying. It was weird to use at first and I practiced using it in the shower. Now, I will always bring this product with me on all of my backpacking trips. I would recommend this for any female who plans to backpack.
