We have owned about 6 sound machines: half died within a couple months, half were returned.
I wanted to find a good machine for my girls’ room and wouldn’t compromise on quality for a cheap price tag. This is exactly what I was hoping to find, and at a price that was more than fair.
Buy this machine- it’s very high grade, has as many choices as anyone could need, and it is very effective at inducing good, deep sleep.

I have three of the regular size machines from the same company as this little one, and this is louder than all three of them combined.
I live in an apartment with thin walls, so I need them to block out my neighbors, but three of them weren’t doing the job, so I got this and put it on the window away from the others, which are spread out between my bed and the door. I haven’t slept this well in awhile. The bonuses are that it fits in the palm of my hand, is portable, charges quickly, and lasts for 12-hours on a single charge.
I definitely recommend this. I paid full price for this and am not being compensated to write this review.
I did a video review on Youtube for both the hushh and dohm machine, if you can't find it go to my blog at sewmanywayskimi. I go over the different sounds, how loud it gets etc. If you are choosing between this and the Dohm white noise machine, they are both fairly great but this one gets louder then their Dohm machine.
I love that I do not have to worry about batteries! We can easily recharge it in our car, on our laptop or wherever. It can get really loud for when you need that extra loud noise and it can get really low and soft as well. We are about to have our third child and we've been using white noise since our oldest girl who is now 5 was a newborn. This little portable machine can pack a huge punch and get your baby falling to sleep within minutes...even seconds for us!
With newborns being so use to the womb its helps to help continue that transition on the outside. We also use it for our older girls ages 5 & 2 to hide any nosies that would wake them. We live in a small apartment so we don't want a door creaking, toilet flushing or cabinet door opening to wake them up. This machine helps with that and much more!

Was bit skeptical if this would really work. However, this little machine sure works wonders. Volume control and sleep sound options are more than adequate -- PLENTY LOUD IF YOU LIKE IT THAT WAY, LIKE ME! I like sleeping with high volume sounds and did not find the sound quality becoming distorted in any way. Love a bunch of its sounds (16 TOTAL), including "ocean" waves, "white noise" and running "stream" -- these are my favorites. You won't get bored because you can "change up" the sound if you feel like it. You get a lot in this compact sleep aid, plus don't have to worry about replacing batteries (it runs on electrical power). I find it really helps me "stay asleep" through the night, minimizes "wake ups" and I start the day feeling very rested. I had trouble for months getting a good night's sleep, but ever since I got this machine I am having the best night's sleep in a long time!!! SO LOVE THIS MACHINE and REASONABLY PRICED:) I highly recommend this one... and it would make a great gift, too.
Wow! I was a little hesitant to purchase this after some negative reviews regarding the track, but so far it’s great. There is a nice quality sound and a wide volume range. I love the fact that it’s so small, portable, and rechargeable. There’s other portable sound machines, but most run on batteries and I really didn’t want to deal with that. The charging cord is a good length, and I like that it’s a USB. The clip it comes with is just plastic so be careful not to snap it. My daughter calms right down when I play white noise, and I also like sleeping with it to block out any background noises (I’d be up all night listening to every little bump). It’s more expensive than other ones, but still reasonable in my opinion, and more than likely better quality. Plus, no batteries to replace!

My wife can't sleep without her white noise. The apps for phones are loops, usually short with an annoying gap. The device she normally uses is a also a clock and has to be plugged in. I found this and bought it before our last trip. It works perfectly. No noticeable annoying pattern. Can go louder than one would ever expect. Very small and easy to pack. Some one put a lot of thought into designing this product. It's great that one has to hold the power button for a significant period of time to activate; that prevents accidental activation in one's luggage which would be problematic. Be sure you thoroughly read all of the instructions and fully understand the operation.
I really do think this is the absolute best sound machine out there. That being said, I’ve gone through 7 of these, both the hushh and Rohm models.

I’ve noticed some louder than others but all sufficient for adult, child, and baby use.
I have three children, and another on the way. I sleep trained babies for several years as a profession. White Noise is an absolute go to for me. I have gone through at least 10 different types of white noise machines in the past six years. What stands out about this product is that it can be plugged in, but also has a 12 hour battery life, which is great in case it accidentally gets unplugged by toddlers or if our power goes out. I can’t tell you how many times power has gone out in the middle of the night and plugged in white noise machines go off, and the kids wake up. Also, it’s size is perfect, and so portable, and I can easily hang it from a stroller or a car seat handle.
The only reason I cannot give it five stars is because I’ve had to return/replace three of them. One would only stay on for a couple seconds as soon as I got it and had charged it and it was even plugged in. Another, the charging port simply wasn’t there, I think it broke off in shipment, and was jiggling around inside, and the other basically died after a week and the power button became jiggly and was unable to operate.
All that being said, this is still the most superior white noise machine out there. It has three options, and gets very loud. It’s portable, has 12 hour battery life and can still be plugged in. The price point is good too.
I truly stand behind this product, and thankfully Amazon returns are easy, so I can exchange faulty products. But I think I will continue using these for many years to come!
This noise machine is wonderful. Has a lot of different white noise options to choose from and it has a very deep, bass sound and it isnt light and static like at all! Worth the money and happy I got it for my kids bedrooms. I was using a cheap humidifier for a long time for white noise, but once the humidifier stopped working properly, I got a new and improved one that is silent so this was needed! My kids are ages 7 and 3 months old!
I put off buying a white noise machine until now...my son is 7 months old. On vacation, we borrowed this one from my sister and he slept so much longer! I had been using a free app before and it just wasn’t the same. I hated spending $30 on this but I’m glad I did! I like the different noise options and that I can adjust the volume (although I always leave it on high!) I also like that it can be used cordless for travel or naps that aren’t in his crib for some reason. I also like how it is small and not bulky! Would definitely buy again.
1 month update:
We use this religiously for naps and at night. We started sleep training and I really think this was a major reason it went as well as it did. It was as if the noise told my son “ok, it’s time for sleep now.” I wouldn’t recommend sleep training to anyone without a sound machine!
7 Month update:
It has given me fits about not turning on or staying on! I contacted the customer support and within 3 hours I had a return shipping label and a new one ordered! Wish the original would just work but great customer service makes up for it!
Great product. This white noise machine is great for traveling. Its about the size of the palm of your hand. The volume buttons works and you can toggle a few different sounds, which I wasn't expecting for this size. Charge lasts 2-3 nights for me. It's been 3 weeks and still working perfectly. Only more time will tell how long it will last. I bought this because my bigger plug-in one was left at someone's house - saw this one and thought would be perfect for travel too. I've been using daily but will switch to travel only once I get my bigger white noise machine back- something so small especially with only usb recharging to power (no battery) I feel like might last longer if used occasionally, such as traveling.
For everyday use I usually use Marpac Dohm Classic White Noise Sound Machine, which you leave plugged in vs recharge. I've been using that one for over 2 years and still works like a charm. It's not too bad to carry around with either if you have an extended stay somewhere and don't want to keep recharging. However, portable one is much lighter and smaller in size.
