Howard Leight Ll1 Laser Lite Foam Earplugs No Cords, 50

Howard Leight Ll1 Laser Lite Foam Earplugs No Cords, 50 Count

Amazing earplugs. I've tried about 5 different brands, and these ones win me over by a long shot. I have tiny ear canals, so for me to find a pair of earplugs that fit and won't fall out is near impossible. I bought ear plugs for small ear canals, and even though they fit, they didn't stay in very well, nor did they mute down the noise as much as the Howard Leight's did. I also like these ear plugs because they are very good at noise reduction, make a good seal on the ear and stay in unless you take them out. I was using them at a music festival, on the plane and for sleeping with a lot of noise in the background - each time they worked great. I heard similar reviews from 5 other people who tried them out. Get these, you won't be sorry.

I work third shift and sleep during the day---roughly 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. As such, there is a lot more commotion I must sleep through---next door neighbors playing basketball, downstairs neighbor blasting music, etc. Therefore, earplugs are essential to me. I've been using the Howard Leight MAX earplugs for about a year, but when I recently went online to restock, I found the price had risen. I decided to try this model, Howard Leight's Laser Lite earplugs. I'm glad I did. I find them much more comfortable since they are less dense and create less pressure in my ear canals. Their NRR (noise reduction rating) is less than the MAX model earplugs, but I haven't found that to be a problem; I have slept well every night I have used them. I also find they nearly always stay in my ears through the whole night---and I don't put the earplugs that far deep into my ear canal. If I did, I suspect they would never fall out. If you're looking for a good pair of earplugs for sleeping, I recommend these.

One sour note: I was disappointed to receive a single bag filled with earplugs. It's not a big deal, but I appreciate the ease and cleanliness of individually wrapped pairs: I can transport them quickly and easily by tossing them in my backpack. I can also give pairs away for friends and family to try. It's not Howard Leight's fault, and I will not deduct any stars here (I'll do that at seller feedback). Third-party sellers are responsible for making sure they sell the exact items described on Amazon, and too many lack diligence in this regard.

These ear plugs are honestly great. I work the night shift so I sleep during the day. Unfortunately, I live across the street from a large breed dog that barks at every single person that walks by and another dog that lives 2 houses down. I ALWAYS get woken up by their loud incessant barking. Once I put these ear plugs in, the world is silent from 10am-6pm. Pure bliss!! Definitely would recommend these and will purchase them again.

These do the trick for me, and at a great price. I was paying a lot more for 1/4 or fewer ear plugs at my local drug store, and with no way of knowing whether it contained latex. Usually it isn't marked on the package what the ear plugs are made of, and I've had problems with itchy ears due to a latex allergy when the ear plugs have contained latex.
The ear plugs are a little smaller diameter wise than some ear plugs I've bought, and squish down to very small. But they work ok for me. If you need large / really solid mass ear plugs, these may not work well for you.

These work great! I use them at night for my husband's snoring and I don't hear a thing and sleep like a baby. What I love is how comfortable they are! The other earplugs I was using were really stiff so my ears would hurt in the morning from sleeping on my side and laying on them all night. These are so soft and cushy and comforting.

I am going to buy this brand in their more soundproof version because I saw where someone said they are a little larger. My right ear for some reason is slightly too large to get a good seal without fiddling with them (probably from too many years of stuffing the stiff earplugs in there plus I'm 5' 10"). I'll use these in my left and the larger size plug in my right ear. I highly recommend these plugs and if you're an average sized person, they should fit you perfectly.

Also, there is a You Tube video showing how to put these in effectively by pulling up on your top ear to align your canal so they slip right int. I use this sometimes but I actually prefer to pull my ear lobe down so this first method doesn't work for you, try pulling your earlobe down to align your ear canal. These are so soft that they will bump up against your crooked canal so try both methods.

Usually get Macks ear plugs, but these were a bit cheaper so I figured I'd give them a try. They are shaped differently than Mack's, they have a slight flare at the end, which i think is nice. It seems to help them stay in better. These are easier to smush to put in your ear as well. Only think I didn't like is I didn't read the description closely, so was surprised that within the big bag, each pair was in it's own package - seemed like a bit of a waste.

These are some really nice earplugs. Block tons of noise, pretty easy to insert and are super comfortable. I can't even tell they are in except it is so quiet. I work night shift, so having it quiet in the day makes sleeping much easier. Before getting these, my kids would sometimes wake me up (not intentionally, just kid stuff), with these I never hear them.
I have been using the same pair for about 2 weeks (2-3 times a week) and they still look and feel new (I keep them in a plastic film container when not in use). At this rate, this package of 50 pair will last me for years.

edit: I have found that after using a pair around 6-7 times they are harder to put in (they don't stay compressed long enough to insert properly). Still, even if you use them every night, you will get about a years use from the entire pack, but for my usage pattern, the pack of 50 will last me 2 years.

Update 2/2018: I am still on my original pack of 50 pair, and still love them. I also started using them when I ride my motorcycle, they work great for this also. Blocks out tons of wind noise, but I can still hear car horns, sirens, etc.

My ear plugs all came individually packaged in pairs within the larger package. They're quite soft and easy to roll/insert. I use them for sleeping, and while they definitely don't block out loud snoring, they allow me to sleep with my boyfriend when he lightly snores. They do hurt my ears a little in the morning, but I kind of expect that with all ear plugs that are left in for that long.

My house is always busy, even in the middle of the night. Someone's always fiddling around in the kitchen or loudly snoring. We have thin walls and I'm a very light sleeper. I tried other earplugs but these are the best in value and efficiency. They're much more comfortable than those hard foam, cylinder shaped plugs. They fit perfectly in my ear the first time. I don't have to constantly readjust them and even with my tossing and turning during the night; they do not come out. They're very soft. The other earplugs I've tried really hurt my ears and were hard to sleep on, especially since I sleep on my side. These are flexible, comfortable and block out sound perfectly.

Bought these to keep in my range bag for indoor range shooting to put on underneath my electronic earmuffs for when people bring their high powered rifles to "have fun" shooting at 25 yards...

Also great to have around the garage for use with power or air tools, take care of your hearing, once it's gone it's gone.

Incredibly comfortable, sufficient noise reduction, trusted brand name.

Buy in as big of a bulk container as you can, they get nicely cheaper with larger quantities and you'll never regret having extras to hand out to friends in the garage or at the range.
