It's on the small side, which is perfect for a child. My daughter loves it.
It serves two purposes: one, it keeps her cozy and warm, and two, it's a perfect stuffed animal to cuddle.

I wasn't really looking for this item - just a plain hot water bottle for a camping trip, but then this popped up in my recommendations. My kid already had a small one inside a reindeer cover but since this came in a small or large size I decided to go for the larger size as it might stay warmer longer. The quality was great - stitching and detail good. We have used it many times and my kid just adores it. It stays warm for ages too! Great for using in the cold winter months or when they are feeling a bit under the weather.
I bought for my terrible cramps. It works great until someone (my toddler) comes up and takes it from me. I guess that’s to be expected because of the unicorn plush. I have learned that it’s best to bring it out after the little one goes to bed. Purple colour is great. Product is fairly large and covers the area I need it to, I probably could have ordered the smaller size. Ordering a smaller one for the little one.
I bought the 2L size, and it’s much larger than I expected. I got it for cramps, and it covers my whole stomach, so if you’re looking to get this for a child I’d go with the smaller size. You can’t use boiling water in it, so it doesn’t get too uncomfortably hot like electric heating pads do, but the plush cover isn’t padded, so you can still feel the heat pretty well. It doesn’t appear to be machine washable, and the fabric isn’t very durable so I wouldn’t use it for pets like it advertises.

My daughter's room is at the far end of the house.
The room is usually cold since the central heater has difficulty to pump hot air to that room.
My daughter sleeps alone, so I don't want to put an electric heater there.

This bottle is really great. Probably one of the best things I’ve bought in a while. Both the bottle and cover are lovely quality and it’s a good size. The cover is enough to be cuddly but not too much where the bottle isn’t effective. All in all, money well spent
I love this silly little thing. The cover is very soft and downright cuddly. I filled it with hot water and it stayed warm for a nice long time.
