I'm glad I was able to find a tool like this to clean out the gunk in my CPAP tube. I usually subscribe through Apria Direct for my CPAP supplies but that company is inconsistant and doesn't send supplies in a timely manner every 3 months. In the meantime, I have to resort to reusing my current supplies until I have that issue sorted out. The brush does a thorough scrubbing of the insides of the tube. I can smell the difference after I wash it out using my special CPAP soap (PurDoux) that also purchased here on Amazon.
Whenever water for the humidifier is sprayed through that tube, it leaves water spots inside the tube that can later turn into mold if not cleaned within a day or two. I make it a point to clean the tube out every 2 days. You can smell the difference once you use this brush to clean the insides of the tube.
Pro tip- Don't insert the brush end into the tube first as it's difficult to push through. What I do is insert the opposite end first (non-brush side) and then once that end goes through the tube, I pull the brush end through. Work the brush through the tube by pushing and pulling along and it will do the job.
I’ve used CPAP for about 25 years and every year like clockwork I’d get diagnosed with upper respiratory infection, sometimes twice a year. I would rinse out my CPAP humidifier every morning and wash my nose pillow. The hose, about three or four times a year! My thought was that the hose was dry and probably didn’t trap anything that could harm me. Besides I would typically replace the hose once a year and finally; how the heck would I wash it anyway, vinegar solution? Yuk!
I got tired of getting sick with URI so I bought the cleaning machine that I heard advertised on the radio. It uses an ion generator or something like that. Damn, it stunk after using it so I returned it and bought this brush kit. Using clear liquid detergent from the grocery store I began washing alternate sets of hoses on a weekly basis in my bathroom lavatory. It’s been 2 years since I’ve had a URI! Call me ignorant but WOW what a difference.
I alternate hoses weekly, hanging the one I washed in my closet over the clothes rod, same with this brush. There is a nice plastic hose holder for your closet here on Amazon that holds both my hose and the long flexible brush. It has a clothes hanger hook on top. Also buy a package of paper inlet filters. I replace that every other week, but I wash the sponge filter with the hose again on a weekly basis. CPAP has been great for me and now with a little discipline washing my hose, head gear and humidifier reservoir I’m free of URI! Try it!
Cleaning C-PAP tubes is never fun. At the worst, they can get little bits of ick in the ribs. At best you find yourself outside, swinging them around overhead to clear the water out. In between is you, hoping that the tube, full of soapy water, doesn't twist out of hand and empty on the floor.
Enter these brushes. The small one is great for the mask hose and the large on is great for the main hose. I slip the non-brush side in and carefully snake it through the hose that I've already rinsed with warm, soapy water, then pull it through. Viola, clean hose. Just a final rinse and it's good to be left to dry.
This set of two brushes is perfect for cleaning my M Series CPAP hoses. Cleaning the hoses was always a hit and miss proposition when I tried it (pre-brush purchase) by just swishing soapy water end-to-end by hand, but the long handled brush means business and makes one confident that nothing is being left behind. Good product, well made, well designed and fairly priced. Thanks seller and thanks Amazon!
It's so nice to have a way to clean the inside of my C-Pap tubing - rinsing alone wasn't getting it clean. Bacteria build-up makes it smell awful. This long, flexible brush fits all the way through the 6 foot long hose! And the small brush works GREAT in the mask and the smaller pieces - getting them cleaner than anything else I've found on the market! Thank you!

Description
Care Touch CPAP Tube Cleaning Brush Plus Handy Brush
For people sleeping or using a CPAP, BIPAP or any other PAP machines, it is important to constantly clean the machines and tubes to keep it sterile, germ and bacteria free.
A person that sleeps approximately 6-8 hours a night, breaths on average 5,000 breaths a night which is over 2 million breaths a year. Now add on to that someone that is breathing through a mask and tube, especially one that humidifies the air, that is an absolute breeding ground for bacteria, germs and infection to live and grow.
For this reason it is VERY IMPORTANT to clean the CPAP mask and tube on a constant basis.
These Care Touch CPAP Cleaning Brushes make it easy to do so.
The cleaning brush extends up to 7 feet so you can clean the entire length of the tube at once.
The handy brush is great for the CPAP mask, to clean the opening where the tube gets inserted, without the 7 foot coil at the end.
How to clean your CPAP Tubing
Use a mild detergent and warm water.
Rinse thoroughly with cool water
Keep the tube as straight as possible and gently work the brush in a back and forth motion, in short strokes, gradually working further inside the tube.
Avoid aggressive use when cleaning. The fan tipped brush will reduce stress to tubing walls. However, it is recommended the CPAP tube be kept straight as possible during cleanings to avoid unnecessary wear or damage.
When done cleaning, thoroughly rinse tube with a stream of cool water, Gently pat the bristles until dry to the touch and hang somewhere where there is air circulation. Carefully loosen and straighten tube brush, maintaining a hold on both ends. Once unwound, we suggest finding somewhere to hang the brush.

Great tools to keep your CPAP tubing cleaned out, brushes work easily and as advertised. Goes through my tubing with minimal muss or fuss and cleans it out much better than rinsing alone. Includes a brush for your long tubing as well as a brush for the smaller stuff. No problems so far, works great.
I received my brushes on time. They are great to use for my cpap tubes. I had my machine for a about two months and cleaned it as well as I could. But after I used the tube brushes, it made me feel like the tubes were super clean and I feel more comfortable using my machine. Thank you!
The long brush is just the perfect length for the CPAP ResMed Climateline Heated tube. The small brush fits wonderfully in the ResMed AirSense 10 water chamber and AirFit 10 mask. The long brush was easy to use and like the instructions said...keep the hose straight and the brush will go smoothly.
This was the first time using a CPAP cleaning brush so I am not sure exactly what to expect. I liked that you got two brushes for the price, the smaller brush was nice to clean the tubes on the mask and humidifier. The tube brush was fairly easy to insert and the bristles were a good stiffness as to clean the tubing but not damage it. I did feel that the end of the brush could have been finished better, maybe with rubber, I was a little worried it would cause the tubing to tear when I was fishing it through. I didn't have any problems, but took off one star for the end of the brush being bent over, unfinished metal.
I tell u all something, im new at the CPAP machine and what all it takes, but hey it has so proven to Dr's and myself i was sure in need
