Zensufu Back and Neck Pain Relief Acupressure Mat and Pillow Set - Relieves Stress, Sciatic, Neck and Back Pain

It could be the mat; it could be psychological.
I really don't care which it is, because it works.
Headache? It works. Back pain? Yep, it helps. Anxiety? You bet'cha.

The concept of meditation is crazy-appealing to me, but whenever I've tried it I can't help my mind from wandering. What's supposed to be a calming, soothing mind exercise turns into a stress-inducing nightmare. The mat helps. IDK what the heck happens, but the moment my bare skin hits those tiny spikes it's over. I can breathe. I can relax. I can focus on the pressure and not my crazy thoughts.

I get stress knots in my back/neck. 15-20 minutes laying on this bad boy drastically reduces the tension and swelling. I stop hurting. It's wonderful.

The past several nights I've been using the mat a half an hour before bed. I'll lay down with an audiobook, close my eyes, and zone out. I've been sleeping like an angel.

I freaking love this mat.

The Zensufu back mat and neck pillow set is one of the best buys I've made on Amazon. I bought the set five years ago, and I still use them frequently. The neck pillow is great for tension headaches, and the mat for post workout soreness and occasional muscle strains. I just settle and let my body weight do the work; I actually fall asleep on them sometimes. The neck pillow has dipped in the middle from use, but still works great. Two disks did come loose at one point, but I was able to glue them back on (gorilla glue) and have not had issue since. Highly recommend!

I've been using this every night for years. Took a week or so to get used to, so I started out wearing a t-shirt, but once I was able to deal with the initial pointy sensation, I cannot live without it. I even take it with me when on vacation. For me, after about 10 minutes it seems to increase the Melatonin in my system, resulting in a deeper sleep. I purchased the Nayoya afterward since it had much better reviews, but that mat system is a step down - that is, it helps, but not near as well as the Zensufu.

For less than $30, I thought I would give this product a shot... and I am so glad I did! Since integrating this may into my nightly routine, I sleep so much better... so much so that I haven’t had to use my sleep supplement in weeks. In addition, my posture is much better and my lower back especially doesn’t ache all day. I’ve also noticed more energy and that my feet and hands don’t feel cold like they normally do. I use the mat for about 20 mins a night after my devotional/meditation and it’s made a huge difference for me in a matter of weeks.

I have to say that this is one of the strangest products that I have ever purchased. I have been struggling with back pain for 10+ years, and at this stage I am desperate enough to try anything. I saw this mat at a reasonable price, and it had great reviews from others who had tried it. I thought - what do I have to lose at this point??? I truly believe that the mat has helped me somewhat with my back pain. I do not find any relief whatsoever with the neck pillow part. It is oddly shaped, and I honestly could not even feel the pressure points when using it. The back mat part works well though. I wanted to mention the neck pillow because I believe there is a slightly cheaper version of this mat without this pillow. If I had it to do again, I would save a couple of buck and by-pass this add-on. However, the mat is definitely worth the money. I was able to lay on it without a shirt on the first day, and I did not find it overly painful as some other people have. It does provide a warming sensation after a few minutes. I think that getting up off of it may be the most painful part, but you can figure out what works best for you. I definitely think this is worth trying for anyone with back pain.

I have found this mat to be really helpful for my back pain. I have lumbar lordosis, spondylosis, spondylolisthesis, disc bulging, whiplash, osteoarthritis and a bunch of other problems so I am looking for any relief I can get. I first tried laying a towel down on the mat on the floor but I couldn't feel it at all. Next I tried just wearing a tank top and that was fine for the 5 minutes I started with but about 5 minutes after being done with the mat my neck started to burn where my skin wasn't covered. So, I recommend wearing a t-shirt and then putting another thin t-shirt over the neck pad so there is something between the mat and your skin. I worked my way up to 20 minutes in about a week and it's really relaxing to lay on. It really has helped get rid of the knots that run along both sides of my spine from my neck to by butt which is a relief for me and my husband since I'm not nagging him for a massage everyday anymore. In order to get my lower back to get relief I have to lay on the floor with my knees bent so my feet are at the bottom edge of the mat or sometimes I'll lay with my knees to my chest (but I don't stay that way for long because it can start to be too much stabby stabby.

It takes some getting used to if you don't wear a something like a soft t-shirt to soften the acupuncture points, but it really WORKS. My mother was so impressed with it she asked me to buy her one as well. As an added bonus to the fact that it hits so many acupuncture points all along your backside, if you put your head on the pillow and turn your head from side to side (slowly), it hits all the important acupuncture points along your ear. But I can't lie on the pillow for too long yet. I'm using part of the mat itself as a pillow, which works fine for me, but then I am 5'3". Get this mat! It's FABULOUS.

For the price it is worth a try. I had no pain using it--I did try it right after a hot bath once and my back was a bit tender. If I am stiff after too much gym time or garden work I use it for 15 20 minutes and somehow it eases the pain. Can't explain it--just feel refreshed somehow.

Both the neck roll and back pad have really been helpful to me. At the time I purchased the products, I had herniated disk in my neck and back and was in daily pain/discomfort and used the mats on a regular basis to help eliminate pain and soreness in my muscles. Initially, I used the mats on a daily basis but after a period of time, I was no longer in pain daily and used them only when I was in pain/discomfort. The mats could not and did not repair the herniated disks but they did/do help easy/eliminate the pain associated with the muscles which become stressed as a result of trying to compensate for the disks. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive, non-surgical way of easing pain. Daily use is recommend initially.

I've been using these acupressure mats for several years now/wouldn't be without one. It really does ease tense muscles especially on the back, neck and legs (still haven't figured out how to get my arms/shoulders comfortably on it, though...). I've given this to several family members and friends who tell me they've found relief using this as well. I use it daily - behind me on a chair, propped on a pillow in bed - even slept on it. It lasts 2-3 years with daily use but the points do get dull after a while so I'm finally replacing my original one.
