I purchased this mat to see if a daily dose of sitting on it would help with a very sore hip — or rather, with a sore buttocks! The workmanship of the mat itself is high quality and I am amazed at the beauty of the hemp material. I have begun to use the mat daily for about 30 minutes while I check emails. I have been pleased with the results as the hip/buttocks area is free from pain throughout the day. I will soon try it while standing — perhaps while I bake some Christmas cookies later today. I am very pleased with this purchase!

I adore my Spoonk! It helps tight muscles as well as both falling asleep or gaining energy (depending on the amount of time spent relaxing on it). My husband and I use this often, and we travel with it for comfort. I highly recommend.
I lie on it for about five or ten minutes prior to sleep on the floor. I sleep better. The acupressure points are not too sharp or uncomfortable, but you do feel its effect which I like the acupressure effect. Circulation seems to increase I slept better a few nights when I used it.
I purchased the Spoonk as a gift, but I received one in return. I've used the Spoonk several times for my back, and find that initially the plastic "spikes" are noticeable (I also wear a thin shirt). But it only takes seconds before my back feels relaxed.
This really helps to relax me and makes it easier to fall asleep.

I have chronic pain...Everywhere. Just assume I'm in constant paint. Laying on this mat helps relieve the tension and pain in my back and allows me to sleep at night. Spoonk needs to make acupressure socks. Then when I lay on my mat, I can get my feet at the same time!
