I recently had some minor surgery and was sent home with an ice bag similar to these. They are great! I bought these to use instead of my old style rubber ice bag. They do not leak and hold quite a bit of ice. The ice definitely last longer in these bags than the old style. What i like best is that you do not need anything between your injury and these bags, such as a towel. They have a soft covering that does not let them get too cold when laid right on your injury. Keep in mind, they are disposable and will not last forever. The one sent home with me from the hospital lasted 2 weeks. It would have been much longer, but my caretaker tried to open it incorrectly and broke the latch. Thus I needed more. They are a great value.
My brother had jaw surgery, and these are what the hospital used, inside of a knit tube like a tube sock, tied around his head with a knot on the top. Once home, he used ice cubes in ziplock bags, and freezer gel packs - these were abysmal in comparison, the ziplocks always eventually leaked, waking him up soaked in freezing water every night, and the gel packs only stay cold a short while. These, now - these are GREAT. Whatever they are made of, the ice doesn't leak water out whatsoever and the ice stays cold for an incredibly long time. We used a pair of his daughter's leggings to simulate the sock tube thing from the hospital.
After my knee surgery I used mine to death. I was in search of this product, not only is it expensive and hard to find. I wanted this for my motor home first aide kit. My husband and I are old and athletic, this is a necessary evil for us. My favorite part is it does not sweat. it is reusable to a point. Not the cheapest but the most convenient.
Very expensive poor quality
Got This after rotator tear surgery, stayed cold, and it’s durable. I have one extra for in the summer when it’s hard to sleep at night I’ll put it on my neck to cool down. Will use year round.

These are good .. but for you that don't know always ice max 20 mins then rest at least an hour .
Received within two days. Product was very useful to help appease swelling from surgery. It was useful on specific body locations like back, knee and so forth.
fantastic product, I've never seen anything like this, and I have been using blue ice packs for years. fill it with ice cubes, tie it on, then toss in a cooler when not using it. many hours later, only a small amount of water is there to be drained out, and the ice pack is still dry, the ice still hard. It is intended for 1-time use, but I can refill one 7 or 8 times before it really starts looking worn out. I was given a few of these after surgery.
As advertised. Prompt shipment. Good quality.
