I like that the oil is very pleasantly scented and absorbs instantly. My skin, and I am 55 years old, looks refreshed and lifted. People say that they don't believe that I'm 55, maybe in my early to mid 40's. I was so impressed with this product that I immediately ordered another one. I've used Omorovicza facial oil, Sisley Paris Black Rose facial oil, Rodin Olio Lusso facial oil and many other expensive products and this one, in my humble opinion, should be considered in the same class as those.
I am obsessed with this product. The smell is divine and reminds me of something that I used to buy from the London high end department store Fenwicks. I cannot put my finger on what ingredient it is, but it is amazing and takes me back to London. The product itself on the skin is truly magnificent I cannot say enough about how good it is. It's pure gold. A little goes a very long way and this lasts for a long time. I wish they made this for the body also!!!

Nice facial oil! I saw this and decided to give it a try after running out of my old faithful Decleor facial oil. It's a larger size and seem to be very moisturizing as I have more dry/mature skin. I've only used it for a short time, yet seems great. I recommend it and I've tried Rodin as well. This is much better and the scent is very faint and not offensive.
UPDATE: I used this product to replace my decleor facial oil for about 5 days or so. I loved it and the fragrance was not offensive, but very light and nice. I found my skin was flaking and dry/itchy after about 5 days not ever contributing it to the Herbivore item. I stopped it for 2 days and my problem cleared. The product is nice, but apparently there was something in this natural product that didn't agree with me...it's a shame as the size is ample and would have lasted a long time. I'm not saying this is bad for all, but it did not work for my skin and who is to say what the ingredient was that caused me a problem. I returned it and there was not problem thankfully for the price I paid I was happy with that.
Loving the Phenoix Oil. I am normally sensitive to Rose scents but the scent on this is very delicate, hardly noticeable. I think this is considered a dry oil as it does not feel greasy or heavy and absorbs quickly. I have young dry combo skin that break out easily and have not have any issues with the oil. My face feels smoother and less dry every time I use it. Wonderful!

I love everything about this product. Beautiful packaging and convenient compact size. The roller works well, distributing the perfect amount of oil.
After about a week, my dry, sensitive face quickly became soft and silky with a nice even smoothness. Perfect for the winter months. I love the smell as well.
So far I love the product! I have only been using it for about 2 weeks and I already feel like my skin is glowing. I use it right before bed and as previously stated by other reviewers, it is very light. I have combo skin and this does not break me out as other products have in the past. Even though it is small, I feel it will last a while; therefore the size is perfect. So far so good- I hope to see more results as I continue to use it.
Recently I got a facial and 70% of the products they used were Herbivore and I instantly fell in love (and so did my skin). They used the Phoenix Oil on my skin and I loved the smell and feeling so I wanted to get a small travel size one for my gym/airport make up bag. So I ordered the mini roller ball Phoenix Oil and after just a couple of uses my skin (which is on the dryer side) feels amazing. Sometimes i'll use it before bed and when I wake up my skin is plump, glowing, and hydrated. I also use it when i'm blending out my foundation with a kabuki brush, to give my skin a more dewy appearance and keep it hydrated throughout the day (especially during winter). It's nice because it's more of a "dry" oil, meaning that you won't go to bed and stick to your pillow if you use it at night, it seeps in right away and goes straight to work!
The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is strictly because of the packaging. The roller ball makes it hard to use as an oil to mix with my foundation because I have to roller it out on the back of my hand and then wipe it off my hand with my brush. I guess you could roll is directly on your face but thats just not my style, it feels a little unsanitary. But again that has nothing to do with the product just the packaging.
Next time, since i'm already in love with the product, I'll just order the full size bottle and transfer some of it to a small dropper bottle for travel purposes!
I tried a small sample of each of the Herbivore facial oils before purchasing the large one. I am prone to breakouts but also I have dryer skin. I absolutely love this product! I know it is a pricey item but this is a staple in my skin routine. Worth the money and is a hydrating product.
Love this product and the convenience of the roller ball application. I have very sensitive skin and this reduces redness.
