It's an ice pack, what more do you really need to say? It's filled with a very thick gel and doesn't get as cold as my other, larger ice pack that's filled with something different, nor does it stay cold very long. It works well for my plantar fasciitis, as my other ice pack is instantly painfully cold on such a sensitive area. I do wish it stayed cold longer than 10 minutes, but I did get the small ones, so that surely factors in. As someone who's more likely to ice an injury/sore spot than use a heating pad, I think I'll be limited in what I can use them for, but for someone who's not used to cold therapy, they're probably perfect.
I suffer from chronic migraines and was looking for a way to keep the pain at bay on days I didn't want to take medicine. Found this on Amazon and thought to give it a try. It's the perfect size for going around my elbow. The goo inside gets really really cold - much colder than the last one I had - and it thus lasts longer as well.
We love these for icing a sore foot/ankle. We hold them in place with an adjustable ankle support. They are nice and flexible. Haven't tried the heat treatment mode yet.
Doesn't stay cold as long as I thought they might? Otherwise wonderful. Flexible and comfortable.
