Cold Application
Freeze it about 1-2 hours before your application, please be carefully to apply it on your eyes, if the temperature is too low for you, please cover the eye mask with cloth or towel. And the eyes skin is sensitive, better not to apply it too much time, 10-15 minutes is OK.
Heat Application
Microwave the eye mask flatten for 30 seconds with intermediate fire. And better not to make the bands touch the microwave oven. It lasts work for 20 minutes at a time.
Besides, you can warm it in the boiled water 4-10 minutes not boil in the pot, but please check the temperature every one minute. If the temperature is too high for you, please cover it with cloth or towel.

Quality item and good use.
The other review before me shows a different picture than what is pictured in the ad. I received the black mask with the eye holes as pictured in the ad. It is WONDERFUL.
If you put it in the freezer, you will want to die if it touches your skin for long. Lol. It is absurdly cold. But the refrigerator produces a much better feeling (and the mask remains flexible).
It is also great in the microwave for about 15 seconds or so and retains the heat for a while.
The material feels like a cloth/vinyl mix and is very comfortable. The edges are easy to turn away from your skin so you don't get indentations.
I have bought about 5 different hot/cold masks, and this is my favorite for being able to continue working on the computer while I am soothing my eyes.
Good price for a product that really works to help dry eyes. If you have a fan in the bedroom it helps keep the moving air from drying out your eyes.
