Ordered this for my daughter to help with her sensory processing disorder.
The weight of the rice is perfect and the fragrance isn't over powering.
Some reviews mentioned the smell being too strong but it honestly isn't at all.
When heated in the microwave you smell more of a rice smell than anything but it does have just enough lavender etc. to be calming.
I use these all the time and buy a new one every year around Christmas (we have 6 in our house right now). The green one is my favorite (I like the smell the best) but the pink is my second favorite. They hold up really well to all of the use, even with a family of 5 using it almost every night it will last us a couple years before we have to replace it.
These heating bags are very hard to find so I ordered this one n its perfect. Don't care to much for lavender scent but after a few uses the scent died down. Definitely will order again.
Very soothing, relieves stiff neck and shoulders. Wouldn't be without it now that I own one.
Been using this product for years now, for a bad neck. My original one was just too dirty, and it was time for a new one. I was SO excited to find it available in pink! Same great product, works perfectly.

Has a nice smell at first but after several uses the smell fades away. Holds heat nicely.
I have to agree with many that I prefer the 'old school' version without the seam down the center, but this version works well. It's not as long and doesn't hold it's heat as long as the original, but it does work for me. My old Bed Buddy is patched and dirty after years of use, so this version is better than a patched, dirty old version. If the old version were available I'd buy it, but it isn't so this will do. I took off a star because this feels like a downgrade, but if I wasn't comparing it to the original I'd probably give it 5 stars.

Love the product overall but did not like the scent. It is not a bad scent, just not for us.
