These are narrow reading glasses. They ride perfectly on the tip of your nose & do not interfere with your far vision. This allows me to perform normal activities but yet be able to clearly see what is within arm's reach. I would buy similar glasses at Menards, but they never lasted; would lose the nose pads & were flimsy, so I thought these would be about the same. Boy, was I wrong! These readers are well made, way more sturdy than those cheap Menards glasses. The glass is thicker & the hinges even have springs! Plus you get 3; enough to leave all over the house, barns, & truck! These are great & I will definitely buy again next time I need readers. But then again, I'm just a FOG & what do I know.
For the price I thought these glasses were right on the mark. I did not have difficulty with the cases. The glasses are snug, but not overly so. It's nice to have such a compact case that will fit in so many more places without the bulk of a standardized case. I bought 1.5's and they are fine with no distortion.
This was not the first time I bought readers online...the last time I went for the bargain and got cheap glasses that fell apart within days. After reading reviews here I felt like these would be sturdier and last longer. I have a pair of readers that are about 5-years old...I wanted something that would last as long if I took care of them. These glasses are well put together, light and easily transported. I now have a pair for work, for the computer at home and one for travel. They are a lot like my 'old reliables' in look and feel and I don't have to handle them like delicate flowers. Shipping and service were great and the owner has even reached out to me since offering to replace any flawed items...but mine are keepers. Like I said, good quality, good choice. Happy Reading!
My wife and I go through these every so many months, by breaking or losing them. And, for the low price, that is just fine. What I really like is that they are compact for your pocket and fit well when you put them on. They are not all the time glasses. They are readers only that sit well on the end of your nose. If that's what you want, these are the ones.
I do not need prescription glasses, but I am almost blind trying to read a newspaper or a road map. These glasses are perfect for me. I tend to take off my glasses where I use them, so they are scattered all over the house. I had a new puppy and she used to love to collect from allover and hide them under my bed. Add to all that the fact that I tend to twirl them, chew them and otherwise treat them to unreasonable tests of endurance. That is why I have purchased over a dozen of these readers. My dog still collects them, so I'll be buying more. Highly recommend these glasses!

These work well and does what's expected. The case is solid and the glasses fit tightly. I had an issues with the ear pieces pulling back and they would not fit in the case. Simply pushed them back on the frame and they fit again. I'm not sure if this is the design but I guess it needs to be adjustable.
I really love these reading glasses as the small size make them very easy to carry them. They fit in the little pocket book I carry and take up next to no space. They fit very well and the glasses help me read when I am wearing my contact lenses. I can wear them and not worry about putting them up to my eye. I can see near and far. Love them and will be ordering another set. Great item!!!!
Having recently had cataract surgery I found myself with great distance vision but could no longer read effectively close up. In addition to securing reading glasses to have around the office and home, I found I needed to be able to read the menu at restaurants, as well as filling out forms when visiting the doctors or any place on the go. These half-glasses in a very convenient carrying case were just the answer. Not to mention they are stylish, compact and easy to carry in a pocket or man-purse! Looking good on the road!
I love the reading glasses I purchased from Optix55. The magnification is just what I needed. The glass is clear secure in the frames. The frames are lightweight and all three colors are attractive. The cases are fabulous, easy to tuck in a bag. Order processing was quick and shipping was prompt and protective. When I need the next magnification level, I will definitely want to buy from Optix55.
These are great. They are comfortable and fit nicely. They stay on your face well. I like how narrow they are. It makes it easy to look over the top when you stop reading for a moment.
The case is nice to have and looks cool. However, don't depend upon the clip on the case because it comes off easily. I don't need the clip anyway.
