OMG! I can't stress enough how AWESOME this is! I had athletes foot that would not go away and toe nail fungus. I have been using this for maybe a year now whenever I take my shoes off, these go in and athletes foot is gone, toe nail fungus is going away (I have to treat that as well of course). Great for killing odor too! Bought one for my sister's family, 3 teenagers... smelly feet galore!

I also have him put a special powder on his feet so he doesn't get that bacteria back into the shoe. This sterilizer definitely helps kill it. Also, his shoes smell somewhately new again! Unit is temperamental at times, says there is movement or ambient light and that is not the case and unit will not operate correctly until you re-situate unit in boots. Other than that it seems to work fine and as advertised....My boots never smelled at all, I purchased for tinea fungus and it seems to have helped.

I really feel like this is helping get rid of my BF's athlete's feet problem. It is definitely helping with the smell of our shoes. I have only had to make slight adjustments to the positioning of the device or adjust so the bag is fully closed to get the device to work.

I use this regularly to keep my footwear fungus free. Easy to use for most footwear.
Performs as expected. Easy to use and I plan to never be without. There is no need to smell or have fungus in your shoes when I believe Sterishoe can solve my problem. I saw them advertised at my podiatrist and bought from Amazon straightway. I never miss a day nor wear the same pair two days in a row.
I am a new user so can not be certain I am not fungus free, (still taking pills to get rid of it.) but will update this review when I am sure. It is so easy to use, I fill the shoes I've worn that day with the UV apparatus and put them in the bag, turn on the machine and forget it. What could be easier? First, let me say that this product delivers what it advertises. I purchased it after having problems with persistent odor in a pair of boots. When combined with the scent pouch, the SteriShoe absolutely de-stinks all my boots, shoes, and slippers. My only issue with the product is that it is extremely temperamental; it reminds me of the Princess and the Pea--extremely sensitive. According to the company, there are a number of safety features that will prevent operation of the device if it senses too much ambient light, any kind of body heat around it, any infinitesimally small amount of movement or jostling nearby, etc. It therefore requires a lot of fiddling to get the thing to work. But when it works, it's great. You just have to be patient. Sometimes, really patient.
