I've been wearing prescription readers for 5 years, which, back then, cost me around $400+ for the exam, prescription and frames. I never thought about getting non-prescription readers until recently when I saw some in a $1 store and found that they did just as good a job as my super expensive glasses. When I finally found the magnification level that works for me, I turned to trusty Amazon and found these.

My vision is so much better with these glasses. I didn't realize what I was missing. Just wish I had purchased these glasses sooner. I use 3.5 lens because I am visually impaired, and it is a delight to know that I can see so clearly.
UPDATE: If I could give these glasses 10 stars, I would. Today, a pair of glasses got mixed in with my laundry .. don't know how, and went into washing machine (medium hot water). I discovered them when unloading clothes, still intact, good as new!!! Wouldn't recommend trying this. Just glad I was so lucky.
So far I'm very happy with the readers. I happen to be extremely tough on reading glasses. I'm very active outdoors and unfortunately I go through about one pair per month. I work out of a boat for the State of Florida, Fish and Wildlife, and I carry my readers in my jean pockets or on dashboard of the boat. So of course they break, scratch, lenses pop out, fall in the water, and I even step on them occasionally. My wife just laughs at me! She says I change glasses more often than socks. That's why I bought a package of four this time. These sure seem sturdy. Hoping they'll last a bit longer. Regardless, I'm confident I will be ordering more from you in the next six months (or less) ...because .....I know me!. My only issue was that I accidentally ordered 2.50 rather than 2.75. Just "fat-fingered" the keyboard when ordering I guess. TruVision even offered to replace them for me with the correct strength even though it was clearly my mistake. They work just fine but next time I'll order 2.75. Arrived quickly. Good glasses. Great price. OUTSTANDING customer service.
I make a habit of stashing readers all over the place so there is always a pair handy. Plus, I have a bad habit of losing my readers. So, in the past, I have buying the least expensive types just to keep my costs down but I have not been happy with the clarity of the vision (mostly blurry). I was shopping for a better solution on Amazon and was impressed with the ratings these glasses have received for clarity and it turns out, these reviews were very well deserved. I am totally pleased with these reading glasses. They provide crystal clear vision as claimed and I would highly recommend them to a friend.
These aren't top-notch, but for the price they're amazing. Also, it's really difficult to find 6x magnification glasses, which I need for fine needlework. Shipping was lightening fast: two days! These should last me awhile. And if I sit on or lose a pair, no big deal. ;-) Thanks for offering these! Oh, and the colors are true to presentation, at least on my computer.

I wasn't sure what strength I needed and bought these 2.0. First- They are decent looking and seem durable. VERY CLEAR view! Lens are nice. However, they were too strong for what I need. I find they work great for very close up work. Like pulling a sliver out of your finger or something very small that you will be hold very close to look at. The bad- If you have these on and turn your head too fast they will give you vertigo. They do that to me anyways. And even though I will probably rarely use them, I decided to keep them for future use. I think they are decent enough and worth keeping.
I've used so many different reading glasses since my cataract surgery on both eyes. I always looked for reading glasses that would give me clear vision, be comfortable on my nose and wear well every day. Some had clear vision, but where uncomfortable or the hinge-screws would come out. I tried expensive ones and cheap ones, until I checked on amazon and found TrueVision Readers. Very satisfied with TruVision reading glasses. Price is a bargain compared to drugstore and retail stores. What I like most is the quality of the product - glass is clear and objects sharp on computer screen and when reading books. In addition the glasses are of superior construction in comparison to much more expensive drugstore/retail store reading glasses. Over the years, I have experienced so many failures of other companies glasses, due to the very tiny screws that attach the frames to the arms. What I have found on other reading glasses is that when gently tightening the flimsy screws they tend to strip, and then an arm falls off. This is my second time purchasing a set of 4 glasses from TruVision. I have had no failures, no scratches on lenses, and they are comfortable when reading extensively. I walk around a lot and misplace glasses around the house. With an additional purchase every room in the house is now covered (car too).

Absolutely love my 4-pack of readers!! I bought these a few days ago. For $6 a pair, I figured, why not?
As it happens, these are very good glasses. They're lightweight, but they feel solid. They clean easily with a microfiber cloth, and they conform well to my head. The hinges have enough give in them that they stretch a little bit when i put them on. I prefer this, because the alternative is always that glasses fall off me. I'm in a wheelchair, so the *worst* thing that can happen is for me to drop my glasses. If I drop them, I run the risk of running them over when I'm trying to pick them up.
I can't vouch for the anti-scratch or anti-glare properties of the glasses. They seem to hold up well to typical use right now, but I'll post an update later when i've had enough time to use them thoroughly.
